Could it be any more boring than the last debate? Will illegal immigration, gun rights, and shady associations be conveniently omitted this time around?

There's only one way to find out. Unless you're watching baseball. Then again, you could probably skip back and forth and catch most of both, being they're both rather slow paced. And then there's the replays and highlights... I guess there's really no urgent reason, but you might miss McCain unleashing the fury, and his "distracting" you with Obama's William Ayers connection.

Mexican Consul Estimates Number of Mexicans Illegally Residing in Arkansas

ARRA News Service - According to Andres Chao Mexican consul estimate, there may be nearly as many Mexican nationals in the state of Arkansas as there are people in within the city limits of Little Rock. Little Rock, the capital and the most populous city in Arkansas, was estimated at 184,422 in 2005. Current 2007 estimates identify 187,452. The Mexican consul also estimated that the actual number of illegal Mexican aliens at 80,000. The total estimated number of illegal aliens in Arkansas from other European, Asian, Central American and South American countries is not estimated in this post. But one can conclude with the surrounding states implementing stronger laws to address illegal immigration, Arkansas will continue to see a significant increasein illegal aliens until Arkansas addresses this serious problem.

Arkansas Online reports that: "In 2006, the U.S. Census Bureau reported that Arkansas had 104,920 Mexicans out of a Hispanic population of 138,283. Considering the thousands of uncounted illegal aliens, Andres Chao, Mexican consul in Little Rock, estimates the actual number of Mexicans is closer to 185,000" "In April 2007, the Mexican government formally opened its 47th consulate in the United States in Little Rock, bringing the first — and still only — foreign consulate to the state . . . Mexico’s is the largest consular network operated by any country inside another. . . . In its first year and a half, the consulate issued almost 30,000 documents to Mexicans . . . The consulate . . . reports that the greatest demand is for the identification card, called matricula consular in Spanish. . . . The card represents more than half of all documents issued. Is The Death of Posse Comitatus at Hand?

The Posse Comitatus Act was passed in 1878 and has been an important law. Read an educated review by a military career veteran, Dr. Bill Smith, who addresses the recent official assignment of a U.S Army brigade to "the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or man made emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks." He covers several historical points and the potentials. His conclusion as to why "the year 2008 may become identified in history as the year that the doctrine of Posse Comitatus ceased to have authority" may surprise you.
