Illegal aliens with children must stay in U.S., says congressman

Luis Gutierrez is a perfect example of all thing that are wrong with our policy towards illegal immigration. He has adopted every facet and position of the far left liberal(socialist)agenda. Read what he is putting into motion to convince the American people that illegal aliens with children MUST be allowed to remain here in the United States so we do not break up any families. I have a better idea. Just deport the entire family, parents and kids and this is a problem solved. The funds saved by removing the entire family at the same time will be substantial. I am way past the point of caring about those who enter this country illegally and then being treated with kid gloves, period.

It is time to put LEGAL Americans first and America first. This liberal politician plans to use "'heartbreaking testimonies from illegal immigrant families torn apart by deportation. Children and spouses of removed illegal aliens will take the microphone to tell their sob stories at the various rallies, Gutierrez promises."

How about hearing some heartbreaking stories from some legal families who have lost everything and get no help or fail to qualify for any assistance, have had to break up their own families because Dad and Mom have lost the family home, their jobs, all their savings, retirement, and know the children will be better off with the grandparents or other relatives? How about focusing on the REAL Americans who are here legally and born here legally, many of these are veterans who have served our country out of duty, honor and love of country? I see, hear and try to help these people and their families every day where I work. I see the stress, the fears, the tears from the devastating losses that these legal citizens have suffered through. Many of these people cannot find work due to the fact that many of the jobs they want and would gladly take have been given to illegal aliens still in our country.

In the state where I reside there is a battle going on to allow children of illegal aliens to qualify for in state tuition rates and loans. Guess what? Legal Oregon residents will NOT get the same opportunities just because they are already here legally and not a 'minority.'

Do not let these far left traitors like Gutierrez pull on your heartstrings. This is what the far left and obama are all about. Part of this is done to ensure an ever growing base of voters that are beholding to the left as illegals are draining state coffers from coast to coast, as they suck dry state and federally funded social services. It is liberals who want to continue funding these programs with no limits. So who do you think these illegal squatters will vote for?

Illegal aliens with children must stay in U.S., says congressman
By Jim Kouri: The Illinois congressman charged with crafting President Barack Obama’s amnesty bill has embarked on a national tour to promote a special program that allows illegal immigrants with children to remain in the United States, according to a public-interest group that investigates government crime and corruption.

Launched by Democrat Representative Luis Gutierrez, the "Campaign For American Children and Families” aims to grant a special parole to illegal aliens who have relatives in the U.S. so that families can remain together in the land of opportunity, states a Judicial Watch report.

The measure is essential to help those “whose lives are being turned upside down by deportation,” according to the veteran lawmaker who authored a bill to give the nation’s estimated 12 million illegal immigrants amnesty.

Gutierrez estimates that around 4 million U.S. citizen children (“anchor babies”) have a deportable mother or father and all live in fear that they’ll lose a parent at any moment. His national tour will visit at least 20 cities and feature heartbreaking testimony from illegal immigrant families torn apart by deportation. Children and spouses of removed illegal aliens will take the microphone to tell their sob stories at the various rallies, Gutierrez promises.

The goal is to pressure Obama into using his executive power to halt deportations while a broader amnesty bill is being considered by Congress. Immigration reform is necessary in the long run, Gutierrez says, but in the meantime the government must ensure that it doesn’t “needlessly deport” those who are working, raising families and “contributing to our nation and economic recovery.” Obama must “provide relief” from deportation, the congressman asserts.

Congressman Gutierrez has been a long-time proponent of amnesty and opponent of immigration enforcement. He even went so far recently as to openly call for a suspension of all such immigration enforcement actions until Congress passes "comprehensive" immigration reform.

Adopting the rhetoric of the radical left, Rep. Luis Gutierrez has explicitly compared the actions of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to those of Nazi Germany's most infamous secret police force, the Gestapo.

In an article appearing in the online publication The Politico on August 6, 2008, Gutierrez lowered himself to using inflammatory rhetoric simply unacceptable for a member of Congress. "You know who is in charge now? The Gestapo agents at Homeland Security. They are in charge," Gutierrez told The Politico.

While his advocacy on behalf of illegal aliens has put Gutierrez in the spotlight lately, the eight-term congressman is also well known for his involvement in a couple of high-profile corruption scandals.

A few years ago he unscrupulously pressed the federal government to bail out a failing Puerto Rican bank operated by his wife and several major political donors. Nine hundred and thirty five million taxpayer dollars later, the bank is still struggling and losing huge sums.

Before that Gutierrez was embroiled in a separate scandal involving a political donor who benefited from his influence in obtaining suspicious zoning changes in Chicago. Gutierrez heavily lobbied the city's mayor to back a controversial multi million-dollar development for a campaign donor who had just given him $200,000.

Erick, I am afraid they would. It is very generational like it can be with other minorities. There is a lot of duping and lying that goes on through all these social service agencies. many times they get signed up to vote when they apply for 'benefits' and that is where the indoctrination starts. The parents carry that on at home. It is a very tough cycle to break up.

If a political party needs to import new voters to stay in power, you know how screwed the situation has become. Such tricks should be grounds to kick them to the streets.
You know what you call a thousand unemployed politicians? A fine start :)
