N. Carolina Passes House Bill 33 - Stopping Acceptace of Mexican Matricula Consular Cards

This Email is provided for Informational Purposes to all readers on what is happening in other states. While our site contributors support the efforts by the legislature of North Carolina to limit benefits to Illegal aliens, we are not endorsing any actions in this letter. We agree that it is up to North Carolinians to make the decision how to address their elected representatives.

The North Carolina House of Representatives just set a national precedent on behalf of American workers, students, taxpayers, and voters who suffer from the ill effects of illegal immigration by passing HB 33 which is now headed to the NC Senate.

House Bill 33 prevents all state and local governments from accepting the worthless Matricula Consular cards sold by the Mexican government to illegal aliens on US soil or to anyone looking to create false identification.

Every Democrat in the NC House stood with illegal alien invaders on the bill except for one. The Democrats of North Carolina were unified in their support of continued illegal immigration.

Two traitor Republicans voted with the Democrats in support of aiding and abetting illegal immigrants with bogus Matricula IDs.

Thank goodness this historic bill passed 64-53. There were 64 representatives voting with Americans and 53 voting with the Mexican Consul and the illegal immigrants they support.

Daniel "Danny" McComas, a Republican from Wilmington and New Hanover County, voted against HB 33. He voted to protect illegal aliens using Matricula ID to steal jobs, classroom seats, and other taxpayer resources from Americans.

He joined illegal alien supporting Republican Representative Jeff Barnhart who hails from Concord, NC in Cabarrus County.

Barnhart's support for illegal aliens comes as no surprise since he was one of the two Republican sponsors of the infamous HB 1183 bill back in 2005. That bill sought to provide in-state tuition benefits for illegal immigrants who would have replaced innocent NC Students in our limited college seats at taxpayer expense!

How in the world a sellout Republican like Barnhart is still in office after supporting a highly visible bill like HB 1183, which 81% of likely NC voters oppose according to poling by the JWP Civitas organization in Raleigh, is a mystery.

Perhaps Danny McComas should look at what happened to Barnhart's last Republican accomplice aiding illegal immigrant invaders in NC. Republican Representative John Sauls of Lee County encountered such a strong backlash over his anti-American behavior and support for taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens that he resigned at the end of the same year that HB 1183 was soundly defeated.

I guess many of us who consider ourselves to be true conservatives assumed that the Republicans in Jeff Barnhart's district would take care of business in the primaries by removing such a vulnerable candidate. This is usually the case around the country, but yet Barnhart remains to continue with his pro illegal alien voting record in Raleigh.

Jeff Barnhart and Danny McComas voting with Democrats to support illegal aliens is bad enough, but for them to break ranks with the Republican Caucus at a time when Republicans have gained control of the NC Legislature for the first time in 130 years adds further insult to conservatives.

The North Carolina Republican Party does not need illegal immigration supporting lawmakers like Jeff Barnhart and Danny McComas when they show a pattern of working and voting alongside liberal extremists like Representative Paul Luebke and Deborah Ross on legislation.

Let us call upon Republican lawmakers in North Carolina, along with the NC GOP, Republican Auxiliary organizations, Tea Party groups, and conservative activists to unify to assure that both Representatives Barnhart and McComas face tier 1 GOP primary challengers in 2012!

Qualified and dedicated Republican candidates should be able to easily dispatch both of these gentlemen from the elected official list by contacting GOP voters with their voting records showing alignment with illegal immigrants and urban liberals like Luebke and Ross.

According to the polling data, both McComas and Barnhart and their Democratic allies are out of alignment with approximately 80% of all likely NC voters and those numbers are probably higher in a GOP primary scenario.

HB 33 is now headed to the NC Senate where the Mexican Consulate and other illegal immigration supporters are counting on RINO (Republican In Name Only) Republicans to join with liberal Democrats as McComas and Barnhart did to stop any significant state level protections against illegal immigration.

It would only take about three Republicans to jump ship in the NC Senate to stop these bills.

We can also count on the open borders invasion lobby to try to persuade President Pro Tempore Phil Berger to resume the old tactics of the Democrats and suppress these bills in committee.

The North Carolina public, including members of both parties and every race, must send a very clear message to the Democrats and the Republican traitors who would join them in their support for the invasion of our state that we will remember next November.

In fact, it is long past due that we set up a special committee in North Carolina that will work to establish more direct contact with voters in the districts of lawmakers who vote against immigration enforcement bills in our state. We have enough friends and allies in the General Assembly right now that we can detect and illuminate any person or group that tries to stop these bills behind the scenes. We are going to light them up for all to see if they try to stop our bills.

The NC House is obviously in good hands under the leadership of Speaker Tillis and the fine leaders he has arrayed around him in key positions.

The NC Senate Republicans are yet to be tested on this issue.

We do know that illegal immigration issues were one of the top motivating factors behind NC voters throwing the Democrats out of power after 130 years! Republicans promised real change and while the top GOP leadership tried to dodge the issue on the statewide level, many Republican candidates who won promised voters action to stop illegal immigrants from running amok in NC.

Let's go ahead and line up candidates and campaigns to replace RINOs like Barnhart and McComas in the NC House immediately. Let's send a clear message to all Democrats and sellout Republicans that we will fight and remove anyone that stands in the way of our efforts to protect NC workers who are losing their jobs and wages to illegals, NC students who are losing their college seats to illegals, NC taxpayers who are losing over 1 Billion dollars in stolen resources, and NC voters who are losing their voting power due to elections fraud and corruption involving illegals.

There are other RINOs on the NC Senate side negotiating with power groups like the Mexican Consulate and we need to send a clear message that we are ready to take them on if they dare to try to stop legislation supported by 80% of NC voters.

Over 90% of the NC Republican lawmakers are doing their job to represent the people of our state. Now, let us do our job by setting the task of removing those who would deny the public defense against this invasion from office in the next election cycle.

For any who we fail to remove in 2012, let us push again year after year until we elect Americans who support Americans instead of illegal alien invaders and their power groups.

Copies of this letter will be sent to Republican leaders in each county that Barnhart and McComas represent and let our efforts here in NC be an example for all states trying to defend against invasion. Let's hold these invasion supporting state lawmakers accountable by removing them from office in primaries and general elections.

Sincerely,

William Gheen

Drug Smuggling at the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation

By Janice Kephart, Center for Immigration Studies: New game camera footage obtained by SecureBorderIntel.org time-stamped March 2, 2011, shows seven drug mules likely carrying about $50,000 worth of marijuana each, for a total of about $350,000 in street value.

The trail where the motion-sensor hidden cameras were placed is 80 miles north of the border, due north of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation. Tohono, about the size of Connecticut, has seen a marked increase in drug mule traffic since the creation of two "apprehension" zones on either side of the reservation's boundaries. These "apprehension zones" were created by the now-canceled Secure Border Initiative (SBInet) "virtual fence". SBInet created, for the first time on the border, a regional "Common Operating Picture" that allows the Border Patrol to detect, locate and apprehend alien and drug smugglers as they come across the border. For more information on SBInet, please see my earlier blog, "In Two Weeks, 295 Apprehensions in the Ajo SBInet Sector".

Since its full deployment in 2010, SBInet caused such a sharp increase in apprehensions in the areas it covers that Tohono became a funnel for illegal activity, causing both the cartels and alien smugglers to change their travel methods to avoid SBInet. Instead, illegals are breaching the border increasingly at Tohono's border since the reservation has no fencing and no SBInet. Walking or driving across the border at Tohono takes smugglers due north into the military's Barry Goldwater Range, to locations where these hidden cameras pick them up very close to their load areas on the major I-8 east-west highway in Arizona, just south of Phoenix. This area is part of Pinal County, where Sheriff Babeu has requested state funding for an emergency task force to deal with illegal activity like these loads seen on this hidden camera, recently outlined in my blog "Ariz. Sheriff Babeu and His (Not Federal) Immigration Task Force".

I highlight and show in depth how the cartels travel to these points 80 miles north of the border in my mini-documentary, "Hidden Cameras on the Arizona Border 3: A Day in the Life of a Drug Smuggler". Tohono O'odham was to receive the next deployments of SBInet, but last year Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano froze the project, and in January 2011, canceled it.

Urgent: SB 742 in Oregon will give Illegal Aliens tuition assistance

SB 742 in Oregon will give Illegal Aliens tuition assistance

From NumbersUSA: Urgent - Ask Oregon State Senators to Oppose In-State Tuition for Illegal Aliens

Our friends at Oregonians for Immigration Reform (OFIR) tell us that the full Senate will vote this week on SB 742 – a bill to give illegal aliens access to subsidized in-state tuition rates.

Please call and email Senate President Peter Courtney -- 503-986-1600; sen.petercourtney@state.or.us – to tell him SB 742 is an affront to taxpayers and legal students and should be shelved.

Also, please call your State Senator and ask him/her to vote no on SB 742. Be sure to send this fax to your Oregon Senator.

Talking Points for Senate President Courtney:
--SB 742, which would give illegal aliens access to subsidized, in-state tuition rates, is an affront to taxpayers and legal students. It should be shelved.

--In-state tuition fees are highly subsidized by state taxpayers. The estimated annual tuition and fees at the University of Oregon are $8,190 for in-state students and $25,830 for out-of-state students. That means SB 742 would force Oregon taxpayers to provide a subsidy of about $17,640 per year for every illegal-alien student!

--SB 742 would violate federal law. The Illegal Immigrant Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 prohibits states from offering a benefit to illegal aliens that U.S. citizens from another state can’t receive.

--Even if illegal-alien students get a college degree, they are still in the country illegally and cannot legally obtain employment. As such, it makes no sense to subsidize the education of illegal aliens.

--Proponents of SB 742 say that it is “tuition equity.” How is it tuition equity if an out-of-state citizen, legal immigrant or legal foreign student must pay $17,600 more per year than an illegal alien?

--Do not forget that for every illegal alien admitted to a college, an American student or legal resident is turned away. Do the right thing and pull SB 742 from consideration. Voters like me will be watching.

Napolitano's Border Visit Merely A Photo Op

Now why would her critic's say that about her visit? Just because it is true? Napolitano is suddenly concerned about our border and illegal aliens crossing our borders and flooding our country, swamping our social services at a time when there are many LEGAL Americans who could use those same services? How low and disgusting. She is no better than the mullah master she serves.

Napolitano's border visit merely a photo op, say critics
By Jim Kouri: A visit by the nation's top homeland security official to the U.S.-Mexico border is just one more example of symbolism over substance, say U.S. law enforcement officers.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano spoke about the importance of border security on Thursday in El Paso, Texas as if she was just realizing how serious the problem of border security -- or lack of security -- is in U.S. cities and towns adjacent to the Mexican border, say law enforcement officials.

Napolitano's press conference is viewed as an attempt to quell the tension between the United States and Mexican governments over recent incidents of American law enforcement officials being killed or wounded on both sides of the porous border.

"Our nation's sovereignty is being violated and Americans killed by illegal aliens and all we get are photo opportunities with Obama Administration officials and scoldings from the Mexican government officials including President [Felipe] Calderon," said police officer Iris Veguilla, herself a Latino.

For example, U.S. law enforcement agents reportedly allowed illegal guns to be smuggled over the border so that the weapons could be traced to the Mexican drug cartel leaders. The Mexican government chastised the U.S. for not asking permission to conduct such an investigation in Mexico.

Last month, an Immigration & Customs Enforcement agent was murdered and another was wounded during an ambush by members of the notorious Los Zetas.

But during Napolitano’s press conference she claimed the Department of Homeland Security have initiated unprecedented measures to strengthen border security while avoiding any hindrance of trade and travel along the Southwest border.

Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), a staunch supporter of tough immigration enforcement, once again called on Napolitano to resign this week. Tancredo has led many congressional efforts to protect the borders against illegal immigration.

An incident that involved a gunfight in December between Border Patrol agents near Nogales, Ariz., and armed drug smugglers has been a sore point with Tancredo. One member of the U.S. Border Patrol, Brian Terry, was killed by automatic gunfire during a shootout that highlighted the fact that U.S. law enforcement officers are out-manned and outgunned by Mexican criminals.

For example. Border Patrol agents had been ordered to shoot bean bags at anyone they caught crossing the border illegally. They could use deadly force only if they reasonably believed it was necessary to protect themselves. However, in incidents in which agents shot suspects, there were always negative results for the agents.

Many members of Congress have stated that bean bags are unrealistic for border security against dangerous drug smugglers, especially when the agents are often alone while on patrol.

The Obama administration has claimed it increased the number of Border Patrol agents from about 10,000 in 2004 to more than 20,700 now. However, an examination of records reveals that the increase in border agents occurred a great deal during the Bush Administration when the number of agents reached upwards of 18,000.

Congress Asked To Pledge Respect To Latinos

Judicial Watch: Amid heated immigration debates, members of Congress are being asked to sign a pledge acknowledging the economic, civic and cultural contributions of Latinos and opposing “irresponsible and inflammatory rhetoric” that “dehumanizes” them.

The contract is part of the “Pledge for Respect” campaign launched this month by the politically-connected National Council of La Raza (NCLR), which bills itself as the largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. The influential Mexican group receives millions of federal tax dollars annually to promote its leftist, open-borders agenda and has hundreds of branches throughout the nation.

NCLR leaders regularly attend congressional hearings as well as White House meetings and President Obama hired one of the group’s top officials (Cecilia Munoz) to serve in his administration. The commander-in-chief even violated his own lobbyist ban to make Munoz director of intergovernmental affairs even though she supervised all legislative and advocacy activities on the state and local levels for the NCLR, which is headquartered in Washington D.C.

With that said, this isn’t merely a publicity stunt for the powerful NCLR, which is pushing the respect campaign as part of this year’s National Latino Advocacy Days. The idea is to reinforce that the Hispanic community is an integral part of the fabric of America, according to the group, which is also using the opportunity to denounce politicians who use Latinos to exploit xenophobia for political gain.

The contract also forces members of Congress to promise that they’ll meet with advocates and leaders from the Hispanic nonprofit (that would include the NCLR) and business communities to hear their perspective on the “issues.” That way they could find a common ground based on “shared values and interests.”

To launch its respect campaign the NCLR enlisted a Los Angeles hip-hop band named after the Aztec astrological symbol of the monkey (Ozomatli). In a public service ad, members of the musical group claim that some candidates for public office have called for landmines on the U.S.-Mexico border and microchips to be implanted in undocumented immigrants. Others have used “stereotypical and menacing images of Latinos in their campaign ads.”

The message goes on to say that elected officials and states have fashioned “extreme draconian” proposals against the immigrant and Latino communities, including the elimination of ethnic studies programs in public schools, forcing publicly-funded hospitals to ask for patients’ immigration status and stripping U.S. citizenship from children born to illegal aliens. “It’s time to tell Congress that we won’t stand for this anymore. We need to know who is with us and who is against us! “

Black activist, homeless advocate Ted Hayes is threatened by La Raza

In a most despicable act of cowardice and and racist activism, La Raza went after Ted Hayes. Mr. Hayes is a well known and passionate advocate for the homeless. La Raza, as many here know is an organization that want to take back the& American Southwest and "return" it to Mexico. This is just the top of the mountain when it comes to La Raza.
La Raza is also aligned with many organizations and groups that are virulently Anti-Semetic, racist and they often target Blacks, Jews and of course whites.

This is a low brow, cowardly attack on a most humble man.

Black civil rights activist threatened by Latino group
By Jim Kouri: A radical Mexican separatist group attacked well-respected civil rights activist Ted Hayes using racist smears and making death threats, according to a Washington, DC-based public interest group that investigates and prosecutes political corruption.

The Latino group produced a video which it was posted on the Internet web site YouTube following Mr. Hayes testifying -- by invitation of Maryland State Delegate Pat McDonough -- on March 15 before the Judiciary Committee of the Maryland House of Delegates. Hayes' testimony revealed his opposition to providing taxpayer dollars for in-state tuition benefits for illegal aliens.

The video begins with the message "[expletive] you 'Mayate,'" which is reportedly a racist and derogatory term used to smear African Americans and "dark skinned" people. The video then streams a series of racist images including: the silhouette of a man hanging from a noose, photos of Mr. Hayes adjacent to photos of monkeys and bananas and doctored photos of Mr. Hayes pictured with a gun next to his head. The video, which runs two minutes and nine seconds, concludes with the message "Your (sic) FREE Now Mayate go back to Africa.

The video was initially posted to the video web site YouTube by a group with the moniker "The Timmytop," and was subsequently removed. The Timmytop Youtube "channel" includes a number of extremist propaganda videos with messages such as "This Is Our Land Whiteboy [expletive] you Gringo."

The videos appear to express support for the La Raza/Aztlan movement, which seeks to conquer the American Southwest and "return" it to Mexico. Notably, the videos attack black and white Americans. La Raza is considered by many to be a radical racist group promoting hatred towards the "Gringo." In fact, La Raza means "The Race."

"The goal of La Raza and other leftist or 'progressive' groups is to indoctrinate youngsters and cause them to reject traditional American values and culture," said political strategist Mike Baker. "While they are starting in areas of the U.S. close to the U.S.-Mexico border -- such as California, Arizona and New Mexico -- they ultimately plan to gain access to northern [parts of the nation]," Baker said.

According to officials at Judicial Watch, Mr. Hayes is a long-time opponent of illegal immigration, noting specifically that its devastating impact on the African American community is largely ignored by other black leaders. Death threats and intimidation of a witness because of his testimony before the Maryland legislature would violate federal and Maryland criminal statutes.

"Judicial Watch is outraged at the racist death threats and intimidation directed at the black civil rights activist Ted Hayes in retaliation for exercising his First Amendment rights. The debate over in-state tuition for illegal aliens in Maryland has been compromised and chilled by these threats," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

"The individuals responsible for this evil video must be held accountable to the rule of law. This is an attack on the entire black community, not just Ted Hayes. The Holder Justice Department and the Maryland Attorney General need to take immediate action to investigate these threats."

So far, the U.S. Justice Department and the Maryland Attorney General's office have not initiated an investigation into this case of witness intimidation.

Special thanks to Jill Farrell, Judicial Watch's director of communications, for her valuable information.

Brown Magic Clica Sureno Gang Busted in Oregon and Idaho

This is almost in our backyard. This gang is not as well known as other Mexican gangs, the Mexican Mafia or the drug cartels. This is still an excellent haul and I am sure this is just the tip of the iceberg. They do plenty of dirty and nasty work.

Operation Black Magic Nails 30 Latino Gang Members
By Jim Kouri: Thirty members of the "Brown Magic Clica," a Sureño street gang active in western Idaho and eastern Oregon, were indicted in federal and state courts in separate proceedings last week, according to an FBI report obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police. A literal translation of Sureño is "southerner." When dealing with Mexican-American or Chicano gangs this refers to Hispanic gangs in Southern California.

It may also include gangs who imitate the Sureño style outside of California, or are part of the "Sureño Movement". These gangs differ in size, tradition and sophistication. In Southern California, the gang structure is very loose and the structure is more horizontal than the vertical hierarchy of some East Coast gangs, according to gang expert Gabe Morales.

Most Sureños may not personally know any Mexican Mafia members, but will still put the “13”, for the 13th letter "M", after there name as a matter of respect. Sureños are not so much foot soldiers for the Mexican Mafia as they are a sort of "farm team" from which the Mexican Mafia may recruit the best and most feared ones, according to Morales.

A federal grand jury in Boise indicted 13 people on March 9 in three separate indictments for conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise, murder in aid of racketeering, attempted murder in aid of racketeering, assault with a deadly weapon in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, distribution of controlled substances, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

In addition, 11 defendants are charged in the racketeering indictment; two others are charged individually, one with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, the other with unlawful possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, a state grand jury in Canyon County indicted 18 people on March 9 for recruiting criminal gang members. One of the state defendants was indicted federally.

The indictments, which were unsealed by the courts Wednesday morning, are the result of a three-year Treasure Valley Metro Violent Crime Task Force investigation named "Operation Black Magic," which focused on the criminal activity of members of the Brown Magic Clica (clique of Sureno-13) gang over the past five years.

The defendants named in the three federal indictments are Salvador Apodaca, 24, and Amando Torres, 27, of Pendleton, Oregon; Alfredo Castro, 35, Adam Gomez, 23, Adelaido Gomez, 26, Juan Jimenez, 27, and Ruben Nungaray, 30, all of Boise, Idaho; Oscar Garcia, 24, of Umatilla, Oregon; Juan Gonzalez, 26, and Mathew Grover, 22, of Cottonwood, Idaho; Crista Lara, 23, and Samson Torres, 23, of Ontario, Oregon; and Jessie Rodriguez, 26, of Nyssa, Oregon.

Several suspects are residing illegally in the U.S.
The charge of conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise is punishable by up to 20 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to five years' supervised release. The charge of murder in aid of racketeering is punishable by up to life imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to five years' supervised release.

The charge of attempted murder in aid of racketeering is punishable by up to 10 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years' supervised release. The charge of assault with a deadly weapon in aid of racketeering is punishable by up to 20 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years' supervised release.

The charges of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance carry a minimum of five years' imprisonment, up to 40 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to $2,000,000, and not less than four years' supervised release. The charge of unlawful possession of a firearm carries up to 10 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years' supervised release.>

The defendants named in the state indictment are Hector Almarez, 30, Adelaido Gomez, 26, Luis Nungaray, 24, and Isaac Villareal, 25, all of Boise; Michael Carrasco, 28, Jose Jimenez, 27, Martin Navarro, 28, and Cesar Salinas, 28, of Nyssa; Ulises Cisneros, 25, of Meridian, Idaho; Paul Espinoza, 20, Nicholas Gomez, 19, Ricardo Martinez, 24, and David Perales, 20, of Ontario; Miguel Gallegos, 26, and Javier Gomez, 26, of Vale, Oregon; Juan Esteban Gonzalez, 24, of Nampa, Idaho; Jonathan Lopez Villa, 25, of Caldwell, Idaho; and Gonzalo Garcia-Torres, 26, address unknown.

The charge of conspiracy to recruit gang members carries a maximum punishment of up to 10 years' imprisonment, and a fine of up to $25,000.

"These indictments underscore the collaborative efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutor's offices to combat gang crime in Idaho," said U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson. "We will continue to use every available resource and to work together to take down the violent street gangs that damage our communities."

The federal racketeer influenced corrupt organizations (RICO) law prohibits individuals from participating, or conspiring to participate, in the conduct of an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity. An enterprise is defined as any individual, partnership, corporation, association, or other legal entity, and any union or group of individuals associated in fact although not a legal entity. Racketeering activity is defined as specified criminal acts, including murder, arson, distribution of controlled substances, and intimidation and retaliation against witnesses.

The Idaho gang recruitment law prohibits individuals from knowingly soliciting, inviting, encouraging, or otherwise causing a person to actively participate in a criminal gang; or from knowingly using force, threats, violence, or intimidation directed at any person, or by the infliction of bodily injury upon any person, to actively participate in a criminal gang.

"Gang recruitment is an insidious crime that weaves its tentacles through our schools, our parks, and our neighborhoods," according to Bryan Taylor, Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney. "Gangs succeed by distorting the values of our culture and by perverting the meaning of 'family,' and that's a fight that law enforcement can only win by standing together in partnership with each other, and with the community."

13 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in California Wearing U.S. Marine Uniforms

This reminds me of when the Palestinians were(and maybe still are) smuggling arms and terrorists in ambulances in Gazastan and the West bank. If the damn fence had been completed and we had completely sealed our borders with troops and real life ROE, perhaps something like this might not have happened. Wishing thinking on my part or do I need more Kool-Aid?

From Fox News: 13 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in California Wearing U.S. Marine Uniforms
By Joshua Rhett Miller: Border Patrol agents recently arrested 13 illegal immigrants disguised as U.S. Marines and riding in a fake military van, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Tuesday.

The illegal immigrants were clad in Marine uniforms when they were apprehended at the Campo Border Patrol Westbound I-8 checkpoint at 11 p.m. on March 14 near Pine Valley, Calif., border officials said. Two U.S. citizens in the van also were arrested.

After the suspicious white van was subjected to secondary inspection, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle and its front seat passenger were U.S. citizens who were attempting to smuggle 13 illegal immigrants into the United States. All of the vehicle's occupants wore U.S. Marine uniforms, reportedly emblazoned with the name "Perez."

"This effort is an example of the lengths smugglers will go to avoid detection, and the skilled and effective police work and vigilance displayed everyday by Customs and Border Protection personnel," the agency said in a written statement.

The van used in the smuggling attempt, according to California's El Centro Border Intelligence Center, was a privately owned vehicle registered out of Yucca Valley, Calif., and was bearing stolen government plates that had been defaced. The center digit -- 0 -- was altered to read as an 8. Further research through multiple government agencies determined that the plate belonged to a one-ton cargo van registered to the U.S. Marine Corps.

The military referred inquiries back to Customs and Border Protection. The van entered into the United States via Mexicali, Mexico, and proceeded to Calexico, Calif., where the U.S. Marine uniforms were donned, according to Homeland Security Today.

The Campo Border Station was constructed in June 2008 and is located roughly 28 miles east of San Diego Sector Headquarters in rural East San Diego County. It is responsible for securing approximately 13.1 linear miles of the U.S.-Mexico border and 417 square miles of surrounding territory. An estimated 7,000 vehicles pass through its two checkpoints daily, according to its website.<

Mean-Spirited Utah Keeps Jobs From Unemployed Citizens While Compassionate Ariz. Opens Them Up

By Roy Beck, Founder & CEO of NumbersUSA: In Utah, the cheap-labor Chamber of Commerce lobby has taken over the Republican Party and is, in effect, blocking thousands of unemployed citizens and legal immigrants from jobs being held by illegal foreign workers.

Across the border in Arizona, though, the Republican Party has resisted the worst of corporate lobbying and put unemployed citizens and legal immigrants first, constantly trying to stop unscrupulous businesses from filling jobs with illegal aliens.

This local TV newscast shows the superiority of the compassionate Arizona approach . . . .

Video Source

Channel 10 of Phoenix reported what happened when Sheriff Joe Arpaio raided a bunch of Pei Wei Asian Diners and led most of the workers there out in handcuffs because they were illegal aliens.

First, Pei Wei had to close its doors because it didn't have enough legal workers left.
Second,Finally, and triumphantly, as this newscast video so well shows, unemployed Americans created long lines to take the jobs.

How many times have you heard politicians, academic sophists and too many journalists facilely say that illegal aliens are just doing jobs Americans won't do? How many times have you heard that from a friend, co-worker or relative?

And how many times have you heard them specifically say that Americans are not going to lower themselves to wash the dishes in the restaurants you frequent?

Well, this video show all kinds of people willing to wash dishes for $8 an hour. You'll see Latino Americans say they are willing to do so. You'll see White Americans willing to do so. Young. Middle aged. One with a masters degree.

"I'm desperate," a young woman says. A middle-aged woman says if she were younger she would look for yard work but happy to wash dishes. "A job is a job," says Vince Flores, who refuses to be embarrassed about wanting a job that the elites of America sneer at.

Watch this video and renew your faith in the American people and their will to roll up their sleeves and do a job.

But in Utah, the Republican-led government has just decided that it is better to keep those kinds of Americans unemployed and keep the jobs in the hands of illegal aliens. Across America, corporate American lobbyists are pushing the "Utah Compact" as the "compassionate" way to deal with immigration. Yeah, right, compassionate to business owners who want to stiff unemployed Americans by hiring cheap illegal foreign labor.

Indiana and many other states are currently under great pressure by these Utah Compact Republicans to turn away from the compassionate immigration policies of Arizona and adopt Utah's meanspirited approach to unemployed Americans.

Wouldn't it be great in your own community to see lines of Americans like those seen in this Phoenix video, filled with hope because businesses aren't allowed to hire illegal aliens?

By clicking here, you can send a free internet fax to your own state legislators asking them to reject the Utah model and, instead, keep illegal aliens from holding jobs in your state.

Eight Out of Ten Illegal Aliens Apprehended in 2010 Never Prosecuted

Border Patrol agent on southwest border
CBP agent watches people cross

in Imperial Valley, CA
CNSNews.com – An illegal alien apprehended by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency during the last fiscal year had an estimated 84 percent chance of never being prosecuted, according to figures compiled by the office of Rep. John Culberson (R-TX). Culberson submitted the figures for the record during a hearing Wednesday of the House Appropriations subcommittee on homeland security.

Of 447,731 illegal aliens apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol during fiscal year 2010 (which ended last September), only 73,263 (16.4 percent) were prosecuted, according to the submitted data. That means that 374,468 illegal aliens that were taken into custody (83.6 percent) were never prosecuted. . . .

According to Culberson’s figures, of the 212,202 apprehensions along Arizona’s Tucson sector – which is where most of the apprehensions took place in FY2010 – only 30,748 (14.5 percent) led to prosecutions.

Testifying before the House Homeland Security Committee on Feb. 9, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano told lawmakers that her “top priority in terms of effective control is the Tucson sector of the southwest border.” . . . [Full Story]

Arrest stats for “special interest aliens” obtained by citizens' group

“When you have an administration that pushes illegal alien amnesty, permits illegal alien sanctuary policies, and attacks states like Arizona for seeking to enforce the rule of law, it sends a signal to our enemies to cross the border illegally and to do their worst. The Obama administration continues to allow our borders to spiral out of control. These numbers are simply astonishing. Our country cannot secure our borders soon enough!” Rest of the article is below.

Arrest stats for “special interest aliens” obtained by citizens' group
By Jim Kouri: On Wednesday, a Washington, DC-based public interest group announced it acquired disturbing documents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection directorate detailing Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 apprehension statistics for illegal alien smugglers.

The documents also revealed statistics on illegal aliens from countries considered to be a high threat to the United States because of their suspected ties to terrorism. Among the highlights from the documents, obtained by Judicial Watch as a result of its officials Freedom of Information Act request, originally filed on January 26, 2011:
* U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 463,382 individuals smuggled across the border, including 8,905 smugglers. (3,027 of the smugglers apprehended were deemed “deportable.”)
* U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 59,017 “Other Than Mexican” illegal aliens through October 7, 2010.
* Among the nations represented in apprehension statistics are the four countries currently on the State Department’s list of “State Sponsors of Terrorism,” Cuba (712), Iran (14), Syria (5) and Sudan (5), as well as Somalia (9), Afghanistan (9), Pakistan (37), Saudi Arabia (5) and Yemen (11).
* Overall, U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 663 “Aliens from Special Interest Countries.” These countries are deemed “special interest” because of their suspected ties to terrorism.
* The countries yielding the highest “Other Than Mexican” apprehensions include: Guatemala (18,406), El Salvador (13,723), and Honduras (13,580).
(U.S. Border Patrol estimates that three out of every four illegal aliens who cross the border evade apprehension.)

Press reports thrust the issue of suspected terrorists crossing the border into the spotlight in May 2010 when the Department of Homeland Security issued an alert to authorities in Texas to be on the lookout for a member of the Somali-based terrorist group Al Shabaab, who was suspected of hatching a plot to cross into the U.S. through Mexico.

The warning followed an indictment unsealed earlier that month in a Texas federal court accusing a Texas Somali man of running a “large-scale smuggling enterprise” charged with bringing hundreds of Somalis across the Mexican border. Many of these illegal aliens were suspected of having ties to terrorist organizations.

However, until now, the Obama administration offered little information regarding the overall scope of this growing national security problem. “We should not be surprised if terrorists take advantage of our porous borders in light of the Obama administration’s lax approach to border security,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

Our country cannot secure our borders soon enough!” Fitton stated.

RADICAL IMAM NABBED AT US-MEXICO BORDER In January, U.S. Border Patrol agents captured a radical Muslim cleric attempting to sneak into the United States across the California-Mexican border. Imam Said Jaziri was discovered hiding in a Mexican registered BMW. The terrorism supporting cleric has been banned from France and Canada, as well as the United States, police sources told the Law Enforcement Examiner.

Jaziri, who gained notoriety when he ordered his followers to "execute" the controversial Danish cartoonist who drew pictures of the prophet Mohammed, was arrested, as was the BMW's driver Kenneth Robert Lawler. Jaziri, 44, had been deported from Canada to Tunisia in 2007 after Canadian immigration officials discovered that he had fabricated statements on his refugee application. Prior to that he had been imprisoned in France on terrorism-related charges.

While serving as Imam at a Wahabbi mosque in Montreal, Canada, Jaziri advocated civil unrest and the institution of Sharia law in Canada and the U.S. His detractors accused him of attempting to incite civil unrest among the Islamic population is Canada. He also advocated stoning of homosexuals, whom he branded diseased. In 2006, he led protests over cartoonist Kurt Westergaard's illustrations that satirized Islam and were published in a Danish newspaper and later other publications and Internet web sites.

After the Canadian government deported him, the alleged police and intelligence agents physically and mentally tortured him during the flight from Montreal to Tunisia. His deportation case garnered him support from the Muslim community as well as Amnesty International when he claimed he was tortured and forcibly returned to Tunisia.

According to Border patrol sources, Jaziri had allegedly paid a Tijuana-based smuggling ring thousands of dollars to sneak him across the border. He told the "coyotes" that he wished to be taken somewhere secure in the United States. He reportedly told U.S. law enforcement officials he had flown from Africa to Europe and then to Central America and finally Chetumal, Mexico, at which point he traveled by jitney bus to the Mexican border town of Tijuana.

Counterterrorism experts believe that radical Muslims and Islamic terrorists routinely sneak into the U.S. across the Southwest border since many of them are indistinguishable from Mexican illegal aliens.

Vast Majority of Illgal Aliens Never Prosecuted

Is anyone surprised by this? Not one of us should be. Our country borders are a joke. Our border is Mexico is nothing but a revolving door for way too many illegal aliens. Maybe they should rename ICE and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency the 'catch and release' agency. Only 16.4 percent are prosecuted according to the article below. How badly do you think that 16.4 percent gets prosecuted? To the FULL extent of the laws we have currently on books? I am thinking no. Not in any way shape of form.

Eight Out of Ten Illegal Aliens Apprehended in 2010 Never Prosecuted, Says Border Congressman

By Edwin Mora - Washington (CNSNews.com) – An illegal alien apprehended by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency during the last fiscal year had an estimated 84 percent chance of never being prosecuted, according to figures compiled by the office of Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas).

Border Patrol is a component of the Customs and Border Protection agency at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Describing the situation during the hearing, Culberson said that those who were not prosecuted “had a chance of being home in time for dinner,” after being in custody for a few hours. He asserted that criminal consequences for those involved in illegal cross-border activity was “the key” to securing the nation’s border with Mexico.

The Texas Republican suggested that Operation Streamline, a program that fast-tracks prosecution and deportations of illegal immigrants crossing the border, should be applied to the entire southwest border.

According to CBP, the operation “targets illegal immigrants apprehended in specific enforcement zones for immediate prosecution for illegal entry. Violators face punishment of up to 180 days in jail. Additionally, deportation procedures are initiated to formally remove the individual once they complete their jail sentence.”

“This is the key,” said Culberson. “If we enforce existing law, impose real consequences and existing laws – up to six months in jail criminal prosecution depending on the circumstances.”

But CBP chief Michael Fisher, who testified during the hearing, disagreed that Operation Streamline was the sole key to securing the border. There were “a lot of other variables” at play, he said, citing “different judicial districts” with varying capacities to handle the prosecution load.

Culberson maintained, however, that the only consequence “that really has an impact is the criminal prosecution.” CBP divides the almost 2,000-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border into nine sectors. Running from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf Coast they are, in order, San Diego, El Centro, Yuma, Tucson, El Paso, Marfa, Del Rio, Laredo, and Rio Grande.

9, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano told lawmakers that her “top priority in terms of effective control is the Tucson sector of the southwest border.”

ICYMI: 63% Want Border Control As Top Immigration Priority

From ARRA News Service - Rasmussen Reports: Little is being said on Capitol Hill about immigration reform these days, but voters remain strongly convinced that border control should come first. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters think gaining control of the border is more important than legalizing the status of undocumented workers already living here when it comes to immigration reform.

Most conservatives (79%) and moderates (59%) think border control should come first; most liberals (52%) say the priority should be legalizing the illegal immigrants who are already in the United States.

Group Calls On Utah Residents to Turn Amnesty Bill Into Deportation Tool

National Backlash Against Utah's Amnesty For Illegal Aliens

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is calling for Utah residents to rise in political rebellion against the politicians who just passed an unconstitutional Amnesty for illegal aliens, that is opposed by approximately 70% of Americans.

ALIPAC is releasing a three point plan designed to stop this unlawful Amnesty attempt in Utah using three steps: Recall, Rescind, and Deport.

One - Each Utah lawmaker who has supported Amnesty for illegals should be recalled in the 2012 elections including Governor Gary Herbert, US Senator Orrin Hatch, and each member of the legislature that voted for HB 116.

Second - HB 116 should be opposed with lawsuits and boycotts and then rescinded once the lawmakers who are attempting to override current federal laws have been deposed from office.

Third - Any illegal immigrants who sign up to participate under Utah's HB 116 should have their identifying information used for deportation under the current existing federal laws of the United States and provisions in the US Constitution that protect all states from invasion.

"We want these politicians who have betrayed the American public on behalf of special interest groups like the Chamber of Commerce out of office, then HB 116 rescinded by their replacements, and finally any illegals they attempt to aid with the program deported," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is sending out a press release to Spanish language media publications announcing the plan to take control of the program and use it as a deportation tool.

In violation of their tax status, the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) stepped out publicly to praise the amnesty legislation on Tuesday via spokesman presiding Bishop H. David Burton.

Utah has created a program called the Utah Compact where lawmakers, business interests such as the Utah Chamber of Commerce, and some religious groups work together to pass Amnesty legislation couched in enforcement language. They plan to spread this tactic to other states to overcome the will of most Americans who have defeated this kind of legislation five times in the last five years in Washington, DC!

"The political revolution in Utah has begun," said William Gheen. "Everyone in America is noticing that Utah just betrayed the nation by becoming the first sanctuary state for illegal aliens, moving unilaterally to try and rescind our existing federal immigration laws."

Outrage! US Government Funding La Raza with Your Tax Dollars

La Raza movement believes we "stole" this land from Mexico and the Treaty of Guadalupe is invalid as it sits on Mexican soil. Mexico is a hell hole. It has some of the most beautiful beaches, monuments, history etc etc on the planet, but yet its government keeps the citizenry down. If the border ended at Oregon, then California would be a hell hole as well as the rest of Mexico. That is a fact.

La Raza has been a strong supporter of organizations that hate Israel and want to see the country destroyed and every Jew killed, down to the last child. Do not be fooled by La Raza. They are also tied in with many of the unions that support obama and his far left liberal agenda, his war on America.< The Federel government has sent millions of dollars to La Raza. Are you all right with this? I am all for voting out EVERY politician that supports illegal immigration in any way shape or form. They will not listen to us then they need to be kicked out of office. No exceptions!

This is what they want to take back.
by Mike Piccione, Guns & Patriots, Human Events: The United States government is funding the National Council of La Raza with our tax dollars. La Raza, which literally means in Spanish “The Race,” is a radical organization that advocates open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens. I pulled and analyzed the tax return Form 990, the form filed by 501(c) 3 organizations to the IRS, and here is what was reported:

Government Grants (contributions) to the National Council of La Raza
2008 Tax Returns, (Oct 1 2008 to Sept 30, 2009) $5,136,535
2007 Tax Returns $3,458,351
2006 Tax Returns $3,353,319
Three Year Total $11,948,205

What do people get paid at La Raza? According to the 2008 tax returns seventeen people listed as officers, directors, trustees, key employees and highest compensated employees of the National Council of La Raza have an income ranging from $119,675 to $378,446, the latter of which goes to Janet Murguia, president and CEO.

To put that income figure in perspective a rank and file United States Senator makes $174,000. A United States Marine Sergeant with five years of service earns a base salary of $29,376, including the raise received for 2011.

Lobbying: Part II, Section 1b indicates lobbying expenditures to influence a legislative body amounted to $550,787. Section 1g indicates lobbying expenditures to “Grassroots nontaxable amount” of $250,000.

Here is the quick analysis: The US government pays La Raza to lobby the US government for money.

The United States of America is facing a multitude of critical issues. Two of those issues are wasteful government spending and illegal immigration. Cutting funding for the National Council of La Raza would begin to help in both of those issues.

Now you sound off. Should the United States taxpayer be funding the National Council of La Raza?

DHS Internal Report On Illegal Alien Killing Nun Shocks Readers

This tragic death was the direct result of the obama administration's lack of enforcing the laws we already have on the books against illegal immigration. Couple this with the facts that obama has tried to derail Arizona's SB 1070 bill, and leave our country's borders wide open for illegal immigration and you have a recipe for disaster. A disaster that will be repeated countless times. How many innocent lives will be lost at the hands of illegal aliens?

This is quite shocking as you will see as you read through this. How many times does this administration plan to let illegal aliens off the hook? This was a failure from the top down. No doubt about that.

DHS internal report on illegal alien killing nun shocks readers

By Jim Kouri: An internal government report reveals that a nun killed by an illegal alien drunk driver -- who was repeatedly arrested and released -- did not have to die if the Obama Administration were serious about protecting American citizens.

A Washington, DC-based public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, ob Friday received a Department of Homeland Security report detailing the agency's investigation of an illegal alien (Carlos Martinelly-Montano) who is charged with killing a Virginia nun -- Sister Denise Mosier -- in a drunk driving incident in August 2010.

DHS officials promised a federal court it would release the report earlier this year, but then later claimed the document was in "draft" form and therefore would not be released. Judicial Watch received the edited "final" report on March 3, 2011. Confusingly, the final reported is dated November 24, 2010, according to Jill Farrell, Director of Public Affairs for Judicial Watch.

The DHS report details policies and actions of the Obama administration and local governments that allowed Montano, an illegal alien who committed a series of crimes to remain on the streets despite being subject to deportation. The following is a detailed chronology of events as described in the report, obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed on December 2, 2010:

"On December 7, 2007, Montano was convicted for driving under the influence (DUI) in Prince William County, Virginia and was sentenced to serve 30 days of incarceration. The judge in Prince William County, however, suspended all 30 days of the jail sentence with the result that Montano was not jailed for his offense. Local authorities did not seek to determine Montano's immigration status nor did they contact ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement directorate of DHS)."

"Almost one year later, on October 4, 2008, Montano was booked into jail in Prince William County and charged with another misdemeanor DUI. At the time of this arrest, the local authorities determined that Montano was an illegal alien. Thus, ICE lodged an immigration detainer against him. As a result of the immigration detainer, immigration officers took him into custody. On October 7, 2008, Prince William County

Rather than detaining Montano, "ICE agents determined that Montano was a candidate for the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program," which monitored his whereabouts using GPS technology. He was therefore released.

While awaiting his deportation hearing, "Montano was charged on March 5, 2009, in Fairfax County, Virginia, with misdemeanor failure to appear related to driving without a license. Local officials dismissed this charge against Montano on May 5, 2009. County officials did not contact ICE. On April 27, 2010, a Manassas Park police officer cited Montano for misdemeanor reckless driving. There is no record indicating that Montano was booked or fingerprinted or that Manassas Park officials contacted ICE. On June 1, 2010, Montano was convicted for reckless driving and fined $500. Again, ICE was not contacted following the citation or conviction."

"On April 27, 2009, as a result of the October 2008 DUI arrest, the Circuit Court of Prince William County convicted Montano and sentenced him to serve 12 months and 3 days in jail. However, the judge in Prince William County suspended 11 months and 13 days of Montano's sentence. As a result of the judge's decision, Montano served less than two weeks in Prince William County for his second DUI conviction."

"On May 7, 2009, after Montano served the portion of his sentence that had not been suspended, ICE took him into custody. Based on Montano's compliance during his prior participation in the ATD program, ICE officers released Montano on the prior order of supervision (dating back to 2008) with the condition that he report to ICE on a regular basis."

Decisions by the Executive Office for Immigration Review caused delays in the removal proceedings. Moreover, Montano's immigration attorney successfully convinced an immigration judge to delay Montano's removal hearing on two occasions. The court ultimately scheduled Montano's hearing for August 19, 2010. However, on August 1, 2010, while under the influence of alcohol, Montano is charged with crashing his car into another vehicle, killing one nun and critically injuring two others.

With respect to the decision to release Montano, rather than detaining him, the report concludes: "In 2008, when the decision was made to release Montano, fewer beds were available in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area." The report also points to government policies that allowed immigration officials "broad discretion" about how to use detention resources. The Obama administration used this discretion to release Montano in 2009 after he served jail time for his 2008 drunken driving arrest.

"If this is the cleaned-up version of the Homeland Security report, I can't imagine what bombshells were included in the original version," said Judicial Watch president, Tom Fitton.

"Even in its edited form this report is an embarrassment to the Obama administration and a clear indictment of Obama's lawless approach to illegal immigration. An innocent person lost her life because local police officers and immigration officials couldn't be bothered to enforce and obey the law. This tragedy is a direct result of the Obama administration's decision to undermine the enforcement of federal immigration laws," Fitton stated.

Testimony of Illegal Alien Medicare Costs A Florida Hospital

The following video of testimony in a hearing in Florida has over 2.7 million reviews. While it has been out there for 3 years, our governments have not dealt with this or the other problems associated with other illegal aliens in our country. It details the excessive cost of illegals in our medical hospitals, clinics, doctors offices.

Carol Plato, an executive director of Martin Memorial Medical Center in Florida, gives a briefing on the specific costs and liabilities the hospital has incurred while treating illegal immigrants. It's actually really outrageous to hear the itemized costs these hospitals have to incur while knowingly treating illegal immigrants. Even more outrageous is that one of them who was deported back to his home country by the hospital - after wracking up millions in free legal bills - is now suing the hospital. Only in America folks, can something like this happen. Other countries forcibly deport, imprison, and generally make the lives miserable of illegal immigrants, while we roll out the red carpet and subsidize their lifestyles.

NumbersUSA: Reps. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), Mike Coffman (R-Colo.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), and Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) have cosponsored the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011 introduced by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa). The bill currently has 68 cosponsors and amends current U.S. code to require at least one parent to be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident for a new born to receive automatic citizenship.

The Fourteenth Amendment extends citizenship to all persons born in the U.S. and "subject to the jurisdiction"; it also grants Congress the power to enforce and define the provisions of the amendment.

Since the Civil Rights Act of 1866, Congress has defined Birthright Citizenship through appropriate legislation, which for decades has granted citizenship to newborns with both parents illegal aliens, foreign tourists or temporary foreign workers and students. The Fourteenth Amendment gives Congress the right to define birthright citizenship differently.
The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011 would add to the existing federal code a provision that requires at least one parent of a new born to be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident in order for the new born to receive automatic citizenship.

The United States is one of two industrialized nations (Canada) to offer Birthright Citizenship.
