La Raza, The Mexican KKK at work, stealing your tax dollars to support illegals and their housing.

La raza is one of the worst organizations in this country. They rank right down there with Acorn. The cooperation of La Raza with this corrupt and subversive administration, has reached new levels of suspicion since the hiring of Cecilia Muñoz as head of obama's intergovernmental affairs. It is no wonder that this administration wants and BUYS the votes of illegal aliens even though the democrats deny this every chance they get. They refuse to cooperate on ANY legislation for verifying voter ID. Liberals know that this would hurt them badly during elections and how can you be a good little libtard if you do not champion the poor illegal aliens who broke our laws coming into this country?

The Mexican KKK - Obama courts La Raza support at event in midst of "crisis"

By Jim Kouri: In the midst of a fiscal crisis -- that his administration claims will lead to Armageddon -- President Obama took time out to visit with a key constituency: La Raza, a group many claim is the Mexican version of the KKK.

While the White House continues to hopelessly spin President Barack Obama's poll free-fall, he made certain to take the time to speak to an audience of La Raza members on Monday.

La Raza (The Race) is a Mexican advocacy group for millions of illegal aliens to receive amnesty at best, a racist organization at worst. It's accused of being a group with a stated goal of re-conquering the U.S. southwest that they claim was stolen from their ancestors as a result of an imperialist war in 1845.

Obama's appearance -- in the midst of a no-hold-barred fight with the GOP over the debt ceiling -- is seen as an obvious maneuver to solidify the Latino vote in the 2012 presidential election. There are those who believe that the Democrats -- although quick to deny it -- encourage illegal aliens to vote, which is why progressives such as Obama oppose Voter ID legislation.

In an obvious quid pro quo, La Raza has teamed up with a federal agency to promote one of the administration’s many government cash giveaways with Spanish ads encouraging Latinos --including legal and illegal immigrants -- to apply for U.S. taxpayer dollars to pay for housing.

Just a few weeks ago a Judicial Watch investigation revealed that federal funding for La Raza, which for years has raked in millions of taxpayer dollars, has catapulted since Obama hired its senior vice president, Cecilia Muñoz, to be his director of intergovernmental affairs.

In 2008 the agency revealed that some 5 million fraudulent or defaulted home mortgages were in the hands of illegal immigrants, who obtained the loans from banks that were pressured by the government to offer them, according to a report from attorneys at Judicial Watch.

In fact, the agency in charge of preserving and promoting public confidence in the nation’s financial system, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), began pushing banks to offer services to illegal aliens years earlier and many still do today.

In addition, the Federal Reserve Bank allows Mexican illegal aliens to electronically transfer funds from the United States to Mexico.

It’s logical to assume that the involvement of the nation’s most powerful open borders group, the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), in promoting government-funded mortgage aid is geared, at least in part, towards undocumented immigrants. The EHLP expired but recently got extended amid record-high unemployment to help people keep their homes.

La Raza -- which has seen its federal funding skyrocket since one of its top officials, Cecilia Muñoz, got a job in Obama’s White House -- wants to make sure Latinos get a piece of the pie. Two weeks ago it launched a Spanish-language public service campaign to highlight the program’s “fast-approaching” deadline.

“The biggest challenge now is ensuring that people know about this opportunity and take advantage of it during the short period that it is available,” according to the NCLR director who announced the campaign that will help Latinos “seize” an “opportunity.” In the ad HUD Assistant Secretary Mercedes Marquez alerts Hispanics of the imminent deadline to get their government cash and directs them to a Spanish HUD website that assures the money will be disbursed in a “fair and impartial manner."

Last year Marquez , a strong ally of the open borders movement, awarded a La Raza affiliate known as Chicanos Por la Causa (Chicanos for the Cause) nearly $40 million in grants to “stabilize neighborhoods and rebuild economies.” The money came from a Neighborhood Stabilization Program that has doled out $2 billion to community groups to combat the negative effects of “vacant and abandoned homes.”

Illegal alien cop killer has extensive rap sheet

Why should any of us be surprised? The only ones that are all right with this are those who hate law enforcement of any type, or perhaps those who are beating the amnesty drum, feel that all illegal aliens should be welcomed with open arms and be entitled to every entitlement program legal Americans hardly qualify for any more.

By Jim Kouri: An investigation by a non-profit watchdog group has uncovered evidence that the drunk illegal alien who recently killed a decorated and beloved Houston police officer had six arrest warrants, multiple encounters with law enforcement and had been caught driving not once, but four times, without a license.

He also had been cited by police on eight occasions, was ticketed twice in 2009 and had two convictions for unlawful entry into the U.S., according to public records obtained by Judicial Watch from the Houston Municipal Court. Incredibly, the illegal alien -- Johoan Rodriguez -- remained free and in late May struck and killed Houston Police Officer Kevin Will.

It marks the fourth time in the last few years that a Houston police officer died at the hands of a previously deported illegal immigrant protected by the city’s sanctuary policy, which, among other things, forbids police from inquiring about immigration status.

In 2009 an illegal alien from Mexico -- Roberto Pedroza Carrillo -- who had been ticketed by Houston Police at least four times, killed an undercover police officer during a sting operation.

Also that year, an illegal immigrant drug lord shot another Houston officer in the face while attempting to serve a narcotics warrant at a house. That El Salvador native had been arrested five times for possession or delivery of drugs, thrice after an immigration judge granted him voluntary departure.

In 2006 Houston Officer Rodney Johnson was murdered during a routine traffic stop by a Mexican illegal alien -- Juan Quintero -- who had been deported for molesting a child and arrested for driving intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and failing to stop after an automobile accident. Quintero shot Officer Johnson four times in the back of the head with a 9 millimeter handgun hidden in the waistband of his pants.

Judicial Watch represents Johnson’s wife, Houston Police Sergeant Joslyn M. Johnson, in a lawsuit against the City of Houston, the Houston Police Department and its chief challenging the illegal alien sanctuary policies that ultimately led to her husband’s murder. A few months before Johnson’s death JW had launched a probe and requested public records related to Houston’s sanctuary policy and a taxpayer-funded day laborer center.

Despite the murder of four cops in the last few years and countless other crimes attributed to illegal immigrants the city continues offering undocumented aliens sanctuary. Like the other cases before it, Officer Will’s tragic death could have been prevented considering the illegal immigrant who killed him had an extensive criminal history and should have been jailed and deported.

Rodriguez first got caught entering the U.S. through Brownsville Texas on December 29, 2005, though his criminal record dates back to 2001, according to court documents obtained in the course of JW’s probe.

He was fined and deported and got caught the next day entering the U.S. in McAllen Texas. That led to his second fine and removal, the records reveal.

Despite two deportations, Rodriguez obtained a Texas driver’s license in 2007 even though he was in the country illegally and had numerous encounters with the law. Beginning in 2001 Rodriguez was cited for offenses including driving without a license or insurance, speeding, operating an unregistered vehicle, running a stop sign and not wearing a seat belt.

When he killed Officer Will, Rodriguez had six outstanding bench warrants for failing to appear in court for his various offenses.

Although his criminal history is not violent, it’s extensive and he should have long ago been incarcerated and removed from the country. The same can be said for the other illegal immigrants who have killed cops in Houston in the last four years.

Arizona Launches "Build The Border Fence" Website


Your Help Is Needed

One of the gravest threats facing America today is the lack of security and enforcement along the U.S. and Mexican border. The consequences of this lack of security have yielded an unparalleled invasion of drug cartels, violent gangs, an estimated 20 million illegal aliens, and even terrorists.

Because of the Federal Government's failure to stop this invasion, the State of Arizona signed into law SB 1406. Part of this important legislation established this website for the purpose of raising funds through donations from private citizens, businesses, and corporations across the country in an effort to finance and finish building our border fence. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be held in a trust fund account in the Arizona State Treasurer's Office. The bill also created the Joint Border Security Advisory Committee for oversight and accountability of these funds. Additionally, in an effort to contain costs, inmate labor will be utilized in building the border fence.

As of the effective date of this bill, July 20, 2011, approximately 685 miles of the nearly 2,000 mile long border is "fenced." The vast majority of this existing "fence" however, consists of barbed-wire, vehicle barriers, and inadequate materials that have minimal effectiveness in stopping illegal crossings. The remaining 1,315 miles of the border currently have no fencing at all.

Despite what President Barack Obama stated in his speech on May 10, 2011, that "The (border) fence is now basically complete," it is not. But with your help it can be very soon.

The constitutional duty of the Federal Government is to protect "We the People of the United States." However, you should know that:

According to a February 2011 report by Congress' chief watchdog, the Government Accountability Office, just 44 percent of the nearly 2,000 mile-long border is under operational control, and just 15 percent is totally controlled.

The border fence constructed in Yuma, Arizona successfully thwarted 93 percent of all illegal crossings in that area. This proves that fences do in fact work!

There have been over 35,000 deaths and murders along the U.S. Mexican border since 2006.

According to an investigation by the House Committee on Homeland Security, intelligence officials have determined members of the terrorist group Hezbollah have already infiltrated the U.S. by crossing at the southern border. Border Patrol agents recovered military-style patches on clothing near the border—one patch contained the word "martyr" in Arabic and another depicted a plane appearing to fly into sky scrapers.

In 2009, according to Homeland Security documents, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) officials detained 45,279 illegal aliens classified as OTM (Other Than Mexican), many of whom were from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Pakistan.
Additionally, FBI Director Robert Mueller testified before the House Appropriations Committee stating that these OTMs "are individuals from countries with known Al Qaeda connections who are changing their Islamic surnames to Hispanic-sounding names and obtaining false Hispanic identities, learning to speak Spanish and pretending to be Hispanic."

One hundred thirteen Border Patrol officers have been killed in the line of duty according to statistics from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Estimates show that the United States spent over $100 billion on services for illegal aliens in 2010.



This does not sound like a safe and secure border. These few statistics represent only a fraction of the problems we face because of an unsecured border.

Super-Majority Support Tough Penalties Against Employers Who Hire Illegal Immigrants

What American Legal Voters Believe!
Rasmussen Reports: More voters continue to favor tougher laws against employers who hire illegal immigrants than against landlords who rent to them. But support for strong sanctions against both employers and landlords are at record highs.
- 75% (3 out of 4 voters) favor strict government sanctions on those who hire illegal immigrants.
- 16% oppose such sanctions.
- 8% are undecided.

- 59% of voters support strict sanctions on landlords who rent or sell property to illegals.
- 24% are opposed to tough laws against these landlords.
- 17% are undecided.

- 65% of voters see employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants are a bigger problem than illegal immigrants who are seeking a job.
- 61% favor shutting down companies that knowingly and repeatedly hire illegal immigrants.

- 65% (nearly 2 out of 3 voters) believe that if a police officer pulls someone over for a traffic violation, they should automatically check to see if that person is in the country legally.
- 26% oppose those automatic checks.

New Reality Emerging on Illegal Immigration

Rasmussen Reports - A Commentary By Michael Barone: The United States is a country that has been peopled largely by vast surges of migration -- from the British Isles in the 18th century, from Ireland and Germany in the 19th century, from Eastern and Southern Europe in the early 20th century, and from Latin America and Asia in the last three decades.

Going back in history, almost no one predicted that these surges of migration would begin -- and almost no one predicted that they would stop when they did.

Thus when the 1965 Immigration Reform Act was passed, almost no one predicted that we would have massive immigration from Mexico. Experts told us that immigrants came in large numbers only from Europe.

The experts got that wrong. From 1980 to 2008, more than 5 million Mexicans legally entered the United States. And Mexicans account for about 60 percent of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. today.

Immigration policymakers have assumed that the flow of Mexican immigrants would continue indefinitely at this high level. But now evidence is accumulating that this vast surge of migration is ending.

The Pew Hispanic Center, analyzing Census statistics, has estimated that illegal Mexican entrants have been reduced from 525,000 annually in the 2000-04 years to 100,000 in 2010.

"The flow has already stopped," Douglas Massey of the Mexican Migration Project at Princeton recently told The New York Times. "The net traffic has gone to zero and is probably a little bit negative."

One reason is the deep recession and slow economic recovery here in the United States. Tens of thousands of construction jobs, once plentiful in high-immigration states, have disappeared. Foreclosures on mortgages that should never have been granted have been especially high among Hispanics.

State laws, like Arizona's law requiring use of the federal e-Verify system to check on immigration status of new hires, have clearly had some impact. And the cost of crossing the border illegally has sharply increased.

The Pew Hispanic Center estimates the 2010 illegal population at 11.2 million, down from the 2007 peak of 12.0 million and just about the same level as in 2005. It's probably lower today.

Even more important, things have changed in Mexico. Its birth rate has fallen from 7 children per woman in 1971 to 3.2 in 1990 and 2 in 2010, barely enough to prevent population loss.

Mexico has finally become a majority middle-class country, former Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda argues in his recent book "Manana Forever?" Mexico has more cars and television sets than households now, most Mexicans have credit cards, and there are almost as many cell phones as people.

There has been a boom in higher education, especially in technical schools. The increasing numbers of well-educated Mexicans have no need to go to the United States to live a comfortable and even affluent life. Mexico has grown its way out of poverty.

The historic experience has been that countries cease generating large numbers of immigrants when they reach a certain economic level, as Germany did in the 1880s. Mass migration from Puerto Rico, whose residents are U.S. citizens, ended in the early 1960s, when income levels reached one-third of those on the mainland.

All of which has implications for U.S. immigration policy. It seems clear that tougher enforcement measures, like requiring use of e-Verify, can reduce the number of illegals in the United States. Returning to Mexico is a more attractive alternative than it used to be.

And the desire of legal immigrants to bring in collateral relatives under family reunification provisions is likely to diminish. That means we can shift our immigration quotas to higher-skill immigrants, as recommended by a panel convened by the Brookings Institution and Duke University's Kenan Institute and as done currently by Canada and Australia.

Such a change would be in line with the new situation. Mexican immigrants have tended to be less educated and lower-skill than immigrants from other Latin or Asian countries. Lower Mexican immigration means lower low-skill immigration. Employers of such immigrants may have to adjust their business models.

Probably they are already doing so. But government adjusts more slowly.

Barack Obama has been calling for immigration legislation similar to what George W. Bush sought, legislation geared to a status quo that no longer exists and seems unlikely to return. That's going nowhere. But sooner or later we should adjust the law to address the new emerging reality.

ILLEGAL Alien Dupes Security At Nuclear PowerPlant

So this ILLEGAL, UNDOCUMENTED, guest worker just happened to use an EXPIRED MEXICAN driver's license to gain entry, spent several hours inside the largest nuclear power plant in the country before he was apprehended and taken into custody.

The article raises this question: How safe is the Palo Verde plant or any of our other nuclear power plants?

Maybe this illegal, law breaking, leech and parasite was hired by the Obama administration, DHS, the DNC, or LaRaza to somehow embarrass, stain the Nuclear power program, Border Patrol, INS and you get the picture.

In fact, Cruz Loya Alavares had been recently stopped for driving without a driver's license last month and had been deported back in 2000. We can rest easy 'knowing' that he probably has full coverage car insurance, he has not been sending any of his wages back to Mexico, assuming he was working at job that no legal American would really want to do, especially since the economy has recovered so well under the policies that Obama and the democrats have punished our country with.
Let's take this a bit farther into the negative. What if he had an explosive vest on, a bomb inside his pants or had accomplices waiting on the outside or worse yet, inside the power plant?

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has many reasons to be concerned about this event. Someone had better be concerned because the first Muslim POTUS is too busy kissing the collective butts of the Muslim world to be bothered with something so trivial as illegal aliens(including terrorists, more than likely)setting up shop inside the United States

Illegal Alien Breaches Security at Arizona Nuke Plant

By John Hill -- An illegal alien previously deported in 2000, used a fake ID to gain entrance to the Palo Verde nuclear plant – the largest in the nation – and remained there for several hours before plant security, who grew suspicious of the ID, contacted Maricopa County Sheriff Arpaio’s office who arrested Cruz Loya Alavares, currently held without bail pending charges of criminal trespassing.

Sheriff Joe said “I would presume the Feds would be concerned about this”. We would certainly hope so, for many reasons.

As was reportedlast year, an Iranian book celebrating suicide bombers was found in the Arizona desert. Also, FBI Director Robert Muellertestified the following before the House Appropriations Committee:

(T)here are individuals from countries with known Al Qaeda connections who are changing their Islamic surnames to Hispanic-sounding names and obtaining false Hispanic identities, learning to speak Spanish and pretending to be Hispanic.

In addition, Hezbollah has operations in Mexico, helping the drug cartels in exchange for access to their routes into the United States.


But I guess since Big Sis and Obama insist the border is “more secure than ever”, we shouldn’t expect DHS to take an interest in securing NUCLEAR plants from illegals any time soon. I mean what’s the worst that could happen if an Iranian terrorist re-named “Carlos Rodriguez” gains entry to the nation’s largest nuke plant, with a toolkit packed with C4 explosives?

What do you people want, a moat with alligators on the border? Just relax. Obama and Big Sis are on it!

NJCIC Campaigns for Laws That Bar Hiring Illegal Immigrants

New jersey Citizens For Immigration Control: Launched by a successful press conference in Trenton on June 30, our campaign is off and running. Our goal? Passing A189 and S2773, the “Jobs Protection Acts.” These bills would bar NJ employers from hiring illegal immigrants by requiring them to use the federal electronic database system, E-Verify, or face the loss of their business license. The timing is ideal since every member of the NJ legislature is up for re-election this year, and if we can make this an issue, our chances are much greater.

Other good news: we have a public relations/advertising professional with years of undefeated campaign experience who will direct the campaign as a volunteer, continuing his work on the June 30 press conference. In addition, two national anti-illegal immigration organizations are assisting us in this effort.

But we also need your help. Right now it is in building a campaign fund sufficient to support mailings and advertising to put the heat on every legislator as well as on his or her opponent. We will keep at them until they answer the question: “Will you vote for or against these bills? Or do you refuse to answer? Whatever your position, we intend to let your constituents know through various media prior to the election.”

Groups Sues Alabama to Stop Illegal Immigration Law

H/T RenewAmerica -- NewMax.com — Civil rights groups have sued in federal court to block Alabama's new law cracking down on illegal immigration, which supporters and opponents call the strictest measure of its kind in the nation.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Huntsville, says the law is of "unprecedented reach" and goes beyond laws passed in Arizona, Utah, Indiana and Georgia. Federal judges already have blocked all or parts of the laws in those states. Full Story

Justice has been served...Humberto Leal executed 7-7-2011

PatriotUSA: If anyone has any doubts about how much this POTUS, the FIRST Muslim POTUS loathes and hates the United States, all that it stands for, all the great things this country has done in it's short history, then look no farther than what he tried to do to stop the execution of this disgusting criminal in Texas, Humberto Leal. Just remember that this scum raped, tortured and then killed 16 year old Adria Sauceda in 1995 and you can read the details in the feed below of how gruesome this crime was.

Here is what the MULLAH in the White House tried to to do to PREVENT this justified execution: "Last Friday, the Obama administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stop Texas from executing Leal, asking the court to delay the execution for up to six months to give Congress time to consider legislation that would enforce the U.N. treaty. Congress had three years to pass the bill but did not. Hence, it was impossible to pass a bill that would spare Leal unless a stay is ordered. President Obama, the State Department and Mexican authorities asked Texas for a last-minute reprieve, citing the U.N.-enforced 1963 Vienna Treaty, which requires foreign nationals who are arrested in foreign countries the right to access their consulates.

That Obama, the State Dept. and of course Mexican authorities would try to envoke this 1963 U.N. treaty upon a U.S. murder case is beyond reproach and totally reprehensible to this legal American citizen. obama wanted the United States to bow down to a worthless U.N. treaty from 1963. Now that is a joke in itself. The U.N.?

The most worthless organization, a black hole of wasted funds and now so infiltrated by Muslim elements from the OIC it is almost a crime now days to insult or sully the name of Islam on the slightest level. But that is a topic for a post for a different day and time. Do not let it be lost on any of us that this is what Obama wants to reduce the United States to; bowing to international law so we can let murdering rapists from another country continue to literally get away with murder and possibly weasel out of his execution with a life sentence or worse, he walks because he did not get legal assistance from Mexico as a foreign national.

How would feel if this was YOUR daughter, President Obama?

I do not care if he is legal, born here or not, whatever. He committed a brutal crime, snuffed out an innocent life at 16, used every legal trick in the book for 16 years to slither and slime his way to see the light of day for 16 more years of life. 16 years his victim never had the chance to live through, see and experience.

Just add this to all the reasons to not vote for this traitor and Muslim infiltrator in 2012. I did not vote for him last election as I did my homework and was well aware of how dangerous and disgusting Obama was back then. He is even worse now. If you find yourself wavering in 2012, remember Adria Sauceda and her killer Humberto Leal and how Obama tried to rescue him from death. Obama is as evil as this loser he tried to save. He just happens to get away with a lot because this country was ignorant enough to elect him to the White House. Now let's be sure that mistake is NOT repeated.

From Fox News: Mexican National Executed in Texas, Despite International Pressure.

The Mexican National who was convicted of the brutal rape and killing of a teenage girl in 1995 died Thursday evening by lethal injection at a Texas prison.

Efforts by Humberto Leal's attorneys to halt the execution fell short, with the U.S. Supreme Court turning back a stay request and Texas Gov. Rick Perry refusing to grant a pardon. He was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m. local time.

In his last minutes, Leal repeatedly said he was sorry and accepted responsibility.

"I have hurt a lot of people. ... I take full blame for everything. I am sorry for what I did," he said in the death chamber.

"One more thing," he said as the drugs began taking effect. Then he shouted twice, "Viva Mexico!"

President Obama, the State Department and Mexican authorities asked Texas for a last-minute reprieve, citing the U.N.-enforced 1963 Vienna Treaty, which requires foreign nationals who are arrested in foreign countries the right to access their consulates.

The U.S. Supreme Court denied Leal's request, calling his argument meritless. In a 5-4 decision an hour before the execution, the majority wrote, “We have no authority to stay an execution in light of an 'appeal of the President,' presenting free-ranging assertions of foreign policy consequences, when those assertions come unaccompanied by a persuasive legal claim.”

After the decision, Sandra L. Babcock, an attorney for Leal, issued a statement linked to Twitter, saying her client will "suffer the consequences" of the U.S. stumbling on its commitment to rule of law.

"He will be executed tonight," she writes."Despite the fact that his right to consular assistance was violated."

Leal, who moved to the U.S. as a toddler, contended police never told him he could seek legal assistance from the Mexican government under the treaty -- and that such assistance would have helped his defense.

Details of the murder were particularly gruesome.

Adria Sauceda, 16, his victim, was found naked by authorities, according to court documents.

"There was a 30- to 40-pound asphalt rock roughly twice the size of the victim's skull lying partially on the victim's left arm," court documents read. "Blood was underneath this rock. A smaller rock with blood on it was located near the victim's right thigh.”

A "bloody and broken" stick roughly 15 inches long with a screw at the end of it was also protruding from the girl's vagina, according to the documents.

In his first statement to police, Leal said Sauceda bolted from his car and ran off. After he was told his brother had given detectives a statement, he changed his story, saying Sauceda attacked him and fell to the ground after he fought back. He said when he couldn't wake her and saw bubbles in her nose, he got scared and went home.

Last Friday, the Obama administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stop Texas from executing Leal, asking the court to delay the execution for up to six months to give Congress time to consider legislation that would enforce the U.N. treaty.


Congress had three years to pass the bill but did not. Hence, it was impossible to pass a bill that would spare Leal unless a stay is ordered.

Mexico's foreign ministry said in a statement that the government condemned Leal's execution and sent a note of protest to the U.S. State Department. The ministry also said Mexican ambassador Arturo Sarukhan attempted to contact the Texas governor, who refused to speak on the phone.

The governor's office declined to comment on the execution Thursday, but his office appeared to bristle at the idea of an international body influencing the state's sovereignty.

For 16 years, Leal has exercised his right to file appeals and motions so extensively, one judge in federal district court called his case "one of the most procedurally convoluted and complex habeas corpus proceedings" he ever reviewed.

Meanwhile, in San Antonio, Adria's father, Rene Sauceda, reportedly begins each morning by reading a South San Antonio High School newspaper clipping from May 25, 1995 -- just after the first anniversary of his daughter's death.

"I look at that every day," Sauceda, 64, told the San Antonio Express-News.

Contact Your Senator

The case of Humberto Leal Garcia continues. He is the rapist whose case is objected to on the grounds that he was not afforded the opportunity to consult with the Mexican Consulate.

The administration has filed with the Supreme Court, noting that the Senate has a bill to force the US to recognize a right to notification of foreign governments, if a national has been arrested, that allows them to inject themselves into that process.

The bill is S.1194. It has been twice read and referred to the Judiciary Committee. It's unlikely to be passed, but it would be nice to contact your Senator, just to remind them that you have a STRONG interest in seeing that the bill never makes it out of committee.

Beware Obama’s Backdoor Amnesty Dream

"Mike Brownfield, Morning Bell, Heritage FoundationFireworks broke the darkness of the sky over Washington last night in a choreographed dance of light that paid tribute to our nation’s independence. It was a breathtaking display marking America’s birth of freedom–a sight to behold, a sight to remember.


Last week, another choreographed display befell Washington as more than 200 illegal immigrants were welcomed into the U.S. Capitol as props for Senator Dick Durbin’s (D–IL) immigration reform show. It was a scene designed to tug at the heartstrings and garner support for his pet project, the DREAM Act, a bill that would allow for illegal immigrants between the ages of 15 and 35 who attend college or serve in the military for two years to obtain legal permanent resident status.

From the halls of Congress, those individuals traveled to the gates of the White House, where they “complained that [President Barack] Obama had supported immigration reform with words and not deeds,” as Fox News reports. They hoped to pressure the President to bring about immigration reform in the Land of the Free. But behind the curtains, at stage left, Obama’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is already at work enacting provisions of the DREAM Act by executive fiat, despite the fact that the Senate rejected the bill last year by a vote of 55–41.

In a memo from ICE, the department’s agents–who are charged with enforcing the country’s immigration laws–will be empowered to pursue or dismiss immigration cases against broad categories of illegal aliens who would have benefited from the legislation—without the DREAM Act even becoming law. The agency’s rationale? It has limited resources and therefore must exercise prosecutorial discretion where it sees fits. From the memo:
Because the agency is confronted with more administrative violations than its resources can address, the agency must regularly exercise “prosecutorial discretion” if it is to prioritize its efforts.
Coincidentally or conveniently, (pick your adverb), ICE’s prosecutorial discretion leads it to adopt enforcement parameters that bring about the same ends as the DREAM Act. Agents are to make enforcement decisions based on “the person’s length of presence in the United States,” “if the alien came to the United States as a young child,” “the person’s pursuit of education in the United States,” and “whether the person, or the person’s immediate relative, has served in the U.S. military,” among other factors.

U.S. Senator David Vitter (R–LA) criticized the DREAM Act, ICE’s directive, and the Obama Administration’s attempt to circumvent the will of Congress by way of rogue administrative action:
The DREAM Act is a cover for the Obama administration’s amnesty agenda . . . The administration has now taken their amnesty push to new levels by attempting to give DHS officials the ability to grant amnesty. Granting amnesty by administrative fiat on an overwhelmingly unpopular policy like the DREAM Act would be a slap in the face to the American taxpayers, and especially to legal immigrants.
Over the weekend, pundits also weighed in on the bill on ABC News’s This Week and later in The Sunday Greenroom. Former chancellor of D.C. Public Schools Michelle Rhee expressed hope that the DREAM Act have a future, while Washington Post columnist George Will said that, though it might be an option down the road ”The first thing you have to do is secure the border.” But those policy solutions require legislative action, emanating from Congress as the Constitution requires.

When it comes to enacting his agenda, the legislative process is not something that registers on President Obama’s radar. From the environment to the Internet, civil rights to labor laws, the President has built an administrative bypass around Article I of the Constitution, leaping over the separation of powers and casting aside the founding directive that “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States.” Now he’s bringing that tactic to our nation’s immigration laws, as well.

Our immigration policy, without question, is in need of reform. Amnesty, though, is not the only option—whether it is granted by Congress or surreptitiously awarded by way of Obama’s administrative rule. As Heritage’s Jena Baker McNeill writes, there are other ways to solve America’s immigration problem, and doing nothing is not a strategy. Securing the border, enforcing immigration laws and emphasizing legal immigration are among the incremental reforms that Congress should adopt in working to solve the problem.

Freedom is a powerful thing, and Lady Liberty welcomes immigrants to our nation for a reason. Ours is a land of opportunity, built on the sweat and toil of those who have come from other lands to build better lives for themselves. America’s doors should be open to immigrants—as the law provides.

But those laws should not be cast aside lightly to be trod on for the President’s personal agenda. America’s Founders devised a Constitution rooted in a separation of powers and designed to ensure that no one branch of government usurps the power of another. We celebrate that genius on Independence Day, and the President should respect it from the day he is sworn in until the day he leaves office.

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.

2. $22 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as Anchor babies.

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison Inmates are illegal aliens.

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare and social services by the American taxpayers.

9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

10. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their  countries of origin.

11. The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One million sex crimes committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States .

The total cost is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS
$ 338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.

Are we THAT Stupid? YES, FOR LETTING THOSE IN THE U.S. CONGRESS GET AWAY WITH LETTING THIS HAPPEN YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!

The American Creed: ''We Hold These Truths...''

Today is the great American holiday: The Fourth of July. But do we Americans truly understand what we are celebrating, and why it so important? Listen Now | Download | or Read Below.


Chuck  Colsonby Chuck Colson, BreakPoint: The great British intellectual G. K. Chesterton wrote that “America is the only nation in the world that is founded on [a] creed.”

Think about that for a moment. Other nations were founded on the basis of race, or by the power of kings or emperors who accumulated lands -- and the peasants who inhabited those lands.

But America was -- and is to this day -- different. It was founded on a shared belief. Or as Chesterton said, on a creed.

And what is that creed that sets us apart? It is the eloquent, profound, and simple statement penned by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

I’ll never forget when I graduated from Brown University during the Korean War. I couldn’t wait to become a Marine officer, to give my life if necessary, to defend that creed. To defend the idea that our rights come from God Himself and are not subject to whims of governments or tyrants. That humans ought to be free to pursue their most treasured hopes and aspirations.

Perhaps some 230 years later, we take these words for granted. But in 1776, they were earth-shaking, indeed, revolutionary.

Yet today, they are in danger of being forgotten altogether. According to Gallup, 66 percent of American adults have no idea that the words, “We hold these truths . . .” come from the Declaration of Independence. Even worse, only 45 percent of college seniors know that the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are proclaimed in the Declaration.

As America grows more and more diverse culturally, religiously, ethnically, it is critical that we embrace the American creed. Yes, America has always been a “melting pot.” But what is the pot that holds our multicultural stew together? Chesterton said the pot’s “original shape was traced on the lines of Jeffersonian democracy.” A democracy founded on those self-evident truths expressed in the Declaration of Independence. And as Chesterton remarked “The pot must not melt.”

Abraham Lincoln understood this so well. For him, the notion that all men are created equal was “the electric cord in that Declaration that links the hearts of patriotic and liberty-loving men together, that will link those patriotic hearts as long as the love of freedom exists in the minds of men throughout the world.”

So go to the Fourth of July parade. Go to the neighborhood barbecue and enjoy the hot dogs and apple pie. But here’s an idea for you. Why not take time out at the picnic to read the Declaration of Independence aloud with your friends and neighbors.

Listen -- and thrill -- to those words that bind us together as a nation of freedom-loving people: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

These are the words that Americans live for -- and if necessary, die for.

By Penny Starr, (CNSNews.com): Asked on Tuesday by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) whether the Obama administration would consider amendments to the DREAM Act making illegal aliens ineligible for an amnesty if they were convicted of certain misdemeanors such as drunken driving, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano would not say.

“Let me ask, do you support the bill are currently written?” Cornyn asked Napolitano.  “I do,” Napolitano said.

“And you speak on behalf of the administration, correct?” Cornyn asked. “I do,” Napolitano said.

The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act, or DREAM Act, would give legal status to illegal aliens who were brought to the United States by their parents at age 15 or younger if they have been in the U.S. for at least five years prior to the bill’s enactment, and if they meet certain education or military service requirements.

Cornyn asked Napolitano whether the Obama administration would support an amendment to the DREAM Act that would disqualify individuals from gaining legal status if they had been convicted of certain misdemeanors, including driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, burglary, theft or assault.

Napolitano said the administration would be willing to look at amendments offered.
Cornyn then asked the secretary how she would use her authority to waive provisions in the law--specifically if she would consider waiving requirements for someone who has been convicted of voter fraud.

“Well, again, I think this is not the hearing to go into some of the actual details of the bill in that sense,” Napolitano said. “Of course it is,” Cornyn said.

“And I would suggest, Sen. Cornyn, if you have amendments, we would be happy to consider them,” Napolitano said. “And this is the time to see that language.”

“Madam Secretary, you’re here under oath speaking on behalf of the administration on a piece of important legislation,” Cornyn said. “You say you support it as written and the administration supports it as written. And I think it’s appropriate to ask you questions about it.”
