Illegal alien charged with carjacking, assault on elderly women by Dave Gobson - Extract: police arrested Sergio Fernando Solorzano-Vasquez, 27, after he allegedly attempted to steal a car at knifepoint from two elderly (94- and 92-year-old) sisters. However, these two sisters did not prove to be the easy marks this assailant may have hoped to find. They got into their car, and Solorzano-Vasquez was hiding in the backseat. He then began to slash at them with a knife, according to police. Sgt. Robert Miktus, of the Hamilton Township Police Department told CBS Philly: “He’s reaching toward the front seat with the knife towards the women. The driver, who’s 94 years old, threw her arm back to block him, to block the knife. [In the] meantime, the other sister, the 92-year-old in the passenger seat, jumped from the car, waved her arms and started screaming, attracting attention.” Result: illegal alien Solorzano-Vasquez in jail charged with robbery/carjacking, aggravated assault, and weapons possession. • 56% of those charged with a reentry offense had previously been convicted on at least 5 prior occasions.
• Defendants charged with unlawful reentry had the most extensive criminal histories. 90% had been previously arrested. Of those with a prior arrest, 50% had been arrested for violent or drug-related felonies.

“Note the last two points – the perpetrators were once “previously deported.” Regardless, ALL those crimes would have never happened, i.e. were preventable, with serious deportation of the illegal aliens already here and proper border security to prevent both entry and re-entry.

The Justice Department does not track crimes by nationality so NOBODY actually knows how much crime is being committed by foreign nationals, a.k.a. illegal aliens. While we can make a reasonable assumption that there are more illegal alien criminals who are not in jail as there are in jail, as partially indicated by the 400,000 outstanding deportation orders, we simply do not know how much crime they are committing. . . .GAO report noted, we do know that about 27% of the incarcerated prisoners in federal jails are foreign nationals and that they did commit a lot of crime. This means that incarcerated illegal aliens are disproportionately responsible for more crime than their representation in the population. It is therefore not unreasonable to assume that illegal aliens are also responsible for about the same proportion of the ongoing crime as well. While the actual number probably lies somewhere between the two estimates, nobody knows because nobody is tracking it.” Side comment: 100% Preventable if the Gov't got off their backsides and protected both our borders and Americans.

L.A. program offers healthcare for illegal restaurant workers By Anna Gorman - Extract: A restaurant workers' group and a Los Angeles community clinic have launched a unique cooperative to provide health coverage to a group of people excluded from federal healthcare reform — illegal immigrants. The pilot program, believed to be the first of its kind in the nation, offers preventive and primary care to low-wage, uninsured workers in the restaurant industry. Legal immigrants and other restaurant workers who don't meet the criteria or cannot afford coverage under the healthcare law are also eligible. About 75,000 restaurant workers in Los Angeles don't have access to insurance because of their immigration status, Mariana Huerta of the Restaurant Opportunities Center of Los Angeles, or ROC-LA, said Wednesday. Side comment: Illegals working illegally! California and other states have high unemployment. Based on the quoted figures, up to 75,000 jobs would be created if the illegals were removed and deported. Institute E-Verify and the need ceases to provide alternative health care to these illegals (people) workers. Lunacy reigns in LA.
