White House Ready to Grant Amnesty to 14 Million Illegal Aliens

Family Security Matters: Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Friday (11-27-09) that the Obama Administration is planning on including amnesty for illegal already in this country as a part of their "immigration reform." She outlined a proposal for the 14 million illegal aliens already in the country to be able to "get on a pathway to being legal." She went on to argue why this would be good for America.

“The Broken Door” – How the Lack of Enforcement of Immigration Law Threatens Our National Security

Jennifer Magyari, Assistant to the President at NumbersUSA: For many of us, the recent announcement that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed - the alleged mastermind of the September 11th attacks - will be tried in Manhattan has brought back painful memories of the worst attack on United States soil in history. These memories are a reminder of how vulnerable our country can be to its enemies. What many failed to address in the wake of the 9/11 attacks was how closely tied immigration is to our national security.

An immigration policy that allows so many to enter the United States illegally, or fails to provide the means to track those who overstay visas, only encourages groups who desire to come to our country and harm us. This video, “The Broken Door,” addresses how groups like Al Qaeda are able to operate within our country under the radar of the United States government, often due to lack of enforcement of immigration laws.

Five of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were in violation of our immigration laws. They were illegally present in our country, and could have been detained or removed. Four of those hijackers had been pulled over for traffic violations and were in contact with police who did not check their immigration status with the federal government.

Nawaf al Hazmi, one of the Flight 77 hijackers, was in the United States on a short-term business visa that he overstayed. As of 1/16/01 he was unlawfully present in the United States- yet he was able to obtain a driver’s license from the state of Florida and an ID card from the state of Virginia in June and August of that year.

Hani Hanjour, the pilot of Flight 77, entered the United States in December of 2000 on a student visa - though he never enrolled in school - making his entire presence in our country unlawful. He was still able to obtain ID cards from the state of Virginia and Maryland in August and September of 2001.

Our government needs to enforce its immigration laws. We need to know who is coming into our country and monitor where they are once present.

The Visa Waiver program provides another major terrorist loophole- for many years allowing anyone from a select number of countries to enter the United States without obtaining a visa. Once inside, many are able to continue to live in our country, knowing it is unlikely their immigration status will be checked.

The real question is, why does our government choose not to fully enforce such important laws? Why do we allow so many, whose backgrounds we do not know, to enter our country and reside in it illegally?

According to the Immigration and Nationality Act, “Failure of an alien intending to remain in the United States for thirty days or longer to apply for registration and fingerprinting during that thirty-day period is a deportable offense.” Why are we not following through on laws in place to protect our national security?

The question we need to ask is, what fear do those who come to our country with the intent to do us harm face? Fear that it’s likely they will be found to be illegally residing in the United States? Not likely. Fear that if caught to be in violation of our immigration laws, it will be reported to the federal government and they will face deportation? Probably not. Our government needs to wake up and realize that the safety of American citizens and legal immigrants should be our top priority, and an important part of ensuring that safety is enforcing our immigration laws.

Tea Party Protesters Assaulted by Illegal Alien Amnesty Supporters in Ft. Lauderdale

Lou Dobbs Leaving CNN Immediately

Dobbs has been a faithful spokesperson against the invasion of illegal aliens into the Unites States and reporting on the associated cost and often about crimes committed by illegal aliens against American citizens.  One spokesperson for illegals, Tom Saenz, president of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the leading Latino legal organization, said, "I think the Latino community can and should celebrate that Lou Dobbs is no longer on CNN."

Lou Dobbs is scheduled to appear on the  O'Reilly Factor on Fox News on Monday, Nov. 16. His appearance on Fox News is being billed as a "cable exclusive."   Let's hope that Lou Dobbs will continue his efforts speaking out for legal Americans.

10.2% Unemployment & Groups Are Lobbying For More Foreign Workers

By Roy Beck, NumbersUSA: Every month, we get more terrible unemployment news. (Now, we hear the official unemployment rate has hit 10.2%!) And every month, I must call on Americans to force the nation's elite leaders to answer why they insist on importing 125,000 working-age foreign citizens each month.

Below is the list of elites working against jobless Americans and their families. If you are associated with the following groups, you need to ask your leaders to stop assaulting the unemployed Americans in their membership. 10.2% Unemployment Not High Enough -- Leaders of These Groups Want More Foreign Workers

On average, the feds are handing out first-time work permits to about 125,000 working-age foreign citizens EACH MONTH. About half of those are temporary, and about half of them are permanent work permits (green cards). The leaders of the following groups not only approve of potentially taking 125,000 jobs away from American workers each month, they are lobbying to dramatically increase immigration numbers.

All of these groups are pushing for "comprehensive immigration reform." That means they want to give permanent work permits to around 12 million illegal aliens. It also means that they want to increase the number of legal immigrants brought in for permanent work permits by hundreds of thousands a year.

Feel free to call the phone numbers below and ask these elite national leaderships why they prefer giving jobs to foreign workers instead of to millions of unemployed Americans.

Here are some smaller organizations with leaders pushing to keep American workers from having the manufacturing, service and construction jobs held by an estimated 7 million illegal aliens -- and also lobbying for increases in future foreign workers.

Don't let any of these elite leaderships off the hook. They are in little danger of being washed out of their jobs by the immigration flood. So, it may be easy for them to posture as global humanitarians while rolling the dice on your job. To be fair, I can't imagine that any of these leaderships are supporting "comprehensive immigration reform" to throw Americans out of work.

They aren't that evil. But they are that callous -- so callous that they pursue their other agendas through immigration policy and refuse to pay attention to the millions of Americans and their families who are left without a job because of it.

It doesn't matter what their intentions are, the result of their support of present immigration numbers and for legislation to increase the numbers destroys the economic lives of American workers. Our job as American citizens who are related to any of those organizations in any way is to force them to face up to what they are doing to Americans who work for a living -- or who used to.

New Study Reveals Connection Between Enforcing Immigration Laws and National Security (CNSNews.com) – A new study by the conservative think tank Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals the connection between enforcing immigration laws and national security -- sometimes in chilling detail. The report says state and local law enforcement agencies "are making a significant contribution to public safety and homeland security, not just in their jurisdictions, but for us all."

Kelly Nantel, press secretary for ICE, told CNSNews.com that although illegal aliens are not protected under federal privacy law, it is the policy of the Department of Homeland Security to extend privacy protections to individuals who are in the country illegally.
