Original Source Unknown - a version found at - Regardless, worth considering: You have two families: *"Joe Legal"* and *"Jose Illegal."* Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California.

*Joe Legal* works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.

*Jose Illegal* also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table."

Ready? Now pay attention....
*Joe Legal:* $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax;
*Joe Legal* now has $31,231.00.

*Jose Illegal:* $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year.
*Jose Illegal* pays no taxes. JoseIllegal now has $31,200.00.

*Joe Legal* pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year.
*Joe Legal* now has $24,031.00.

*Jose Illegal* has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year.
*Jose Illegal* still has $31,200.00.

*Joe Legal* makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. *Joe Legal* pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year.
*Joe Legal* now has $18,031.00.

*Jose Illegal* has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare.
*Jose Illegal* still has $31,200.00.

*Joe Legal* pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year.
*Joe Legal* now has 9,631 .00.

*Jose Illegal* receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy.
*Jose Illegal* pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. *Jose Illegal *still has $ 31,200.00.

*Joe Legal* pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance.
*Jose Illegal* says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance!" and still has $31,200.00.

*Joe Legal* has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.
*Jose Illegal* has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.

*Joe Legal* now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.
*Jose Illegal* has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

*Joe Legal's* and *Jose Illegal's* children both attend the same elementary school.
*Joe Legal* pays for his children'slunches, while *Jose Illegal's* children get a government sponsored lunch.

*Jose Illegal's* children have an after school ESL program.
*Joe Legal's* children go home.

Now, when they reach college age, *Joe Legal's* kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships,
grants or other tuition help, even though *Joe* has been paying for State Schools through his taxes, while *Jose Illegal's *kids "go to the head of the class" because they are a minority.

*Joe Legal* and *Jose Illegal* both enjoy the same police and fire services, but *Joe* paid for them and *Jose* did not pay.

Do you get it, now?

If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal are part of the problem!

It's way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

POLL: Few Voters Agree With Biz Lobby & Pres. Obama On More Immigrant Workers

by Roy Beck: A new national poll of 1,000 likely voters provides insight into why a massive and expensive mobilization effort by business and immigrant groups this month has failed to generate much grassroots passion to persuade Members of the House of Representatives to pass the immigration bill that the Senate approved in June.

The Aug. 8 survey found that most voters simply aren't convinced by the arguments of the business lobbies and by Pres. Obama that increasing the number of immigrant workers allowed to hold jobs in the United States will be good for American workers, especially for those who cannot currently find a job.
  • Only one out of five voters (19%) agrees with Pres. Obama's and the business lobbies' central claim that passing the Senate bill to add millions more foreign workers to the labor market would "create economic growth which would provide more jobs for unemployed Americans."
  • Instead, nearly 70% of voters chose the answer that "adding more immigrant workers would increase job competition for unemployed Americans, making it harder for them to find jobs."
(The full text of all questions and answers is available for public evaluation.)

Leaders of the U.S. House are reflecting the clear will of most voters when they say they would not bring the Senate bill with its massive immigration increases to the floor for a vote

But House leaders need to be forewarned by this survey which indicates that voters are likely to take a dim view of the House leaders' own immigration bills. Some of the legislation being contemplated by House leaders would also increase the flow of foreign workers and may offer work permits to illegal aliens with compelling stories before fully implementing workplace and border enforcement. None of that is supported by the majority of voters.

The Senate bill would give lifetime work permits to approximately 11 million illegal aliens over the next decade. It would also increase lifetime work permits for new legal immigrants from around 10 million in the previous decade to more than 20 million in the next decade. All those increases in work permits have been a top priority of a vast array of business groups and Pres. Obama throughout this year. But the poll found little support:
  • Surveyed voters firmly rejected claims by many business spokesmen and their political allies that America is facing labor shortages among less-educated workers. Only 17% agreed that "the Senate bill's increase in less-educated foreign workers is needed because the country faces labor shortages in construction, hospitality and other service occupations."
  • 75% said "the jobs should be filled from the 10 million less-educated Americans that the government says currently want a full-time job but cannot find one."
  • Asked to choose an option for what to do when "employers say they have trouble finding an American to take a job," 71% of voters said "raise the pay to attract an unemployed American worker."
  • Only 10% said an employer should be able to "bring in a new immigrant worker to keep the labor costs down."
Voters not only worry about how business efforts for higher immigration would affect workers but also how it would drive higher population growth and affect their own quality of life:
  • Two-thirds of voters disagreed with business advocates who argue that the government should use immigration to force U.S. population growth; 64% said they prefer that the government "reduce immigration to slow down population growth."
  • Just 22% of voters approved of the current level of 10 million immigrants a decade that the Census Bureau projects would be the chief driver of the U.S. population nearly doubling this century. And only 6% approve of increasing immigration levels so that the population can more than double this century, something the Senate bill would do.
  • 70% of voters said that if the current level is allowed to nearly double U.S. population that would make the quality of life in their state worse. Only 17% of voters said their quality of life would be better under that kind of immigration-driven population growth, and 9% said it would make no difference.
On the matter of illegal immigration, the survey found:
  • Only 16% of likely voters favored giving work permits to "nearly all" illegal immigrants, which is what the Senate bill would do.
  • 53% of voters said they approved of work permits for "only some" of the illegal immigrants "who have compelling cases after living here a long time."
  • 22% said no illegal immigrant should get a work permit.
While the poll showed widespread willingness among voters for legalizing some sub-section of the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens, it didn't find support for the business lobbies' and Pres. Obama's insistence that the legalization and work permits occur first. Only 24% of voters said they favor giving work permits to any illegal immigrants before "full implementation of border and workplace enforcement to stop future flows of illegal workers."

The Illegal-Alien Murderer of Vanessa Pham

Her killer never should have been here in the first place.
by Michelle Malkin, National Review Online: Why is gun control the only policy we’re allowed to discuss when horrific murders occur? In the liberal mindset, “root causes” of crime begin and end with the Second Amendment. But who pays the price when our public guardians fail to secure our borders, refuse to deport serial criminal offenders, and enable drug-crazed menaces to prey upon innocent citizens?

Meet 27-year-old Julio Miguel Blanco-Garcia. An illegal alien from Guatemala, he has lived and worked in Fairfax County, Va., for at least eleven years. The region is a notorious “sanctuary” for immigration lawbreakers where elected officials and big business look the other way in exchange for cheap labor and cheap votes.

When he wasn’t working illegally as a construction worker in the government-fueled Boomtown ’burb or getting himself high on drugs, Blanco-Garcia was building up a lengthy rap sheet. According to Fairfax County court records cited by the Fairfax City, Blanco-Garcia has been arrested for:
  • Public swearing/intoxication in March 2010.
  • Petit larceny in September 2011.
  • Concealment/price alteration of merchandise in April 2012.
With the feds granting blanket amnesty waivers by administrative fiat and refusing to fix the deportation abyss, coupled with brazen “don’t ask, don’t tell” sanctuary policies by local officials, Blanco-Garcia managed to escape detention and deportation for more than a decade. In December 2012, the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (which includes U.S. Marshals staff, Fairfax County police, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and D.C. fugitive-operations officers) finally caught up with Blanco-Garcia. They detained him after determining “that he was in violation of U.S. immigration law.”

But it was too late for 19-year-old college freshman Vanessa Pham. In July 2010, the bubbly art student’s decision to be a Good Samaritan to open-borders beneficiary Blanco-Garcia cost Pham her life. After getting her nails done at a Fairfax Plaza salon, she encountered the illegal alien and his infant daughter in the parking lot. Blanco-Garcia was strung out on $400 worth of PCP.

According to prosecutors, he asked Pham to take him to the hospital. She let the man and his baby into her car. When Pham took a wrong turn, Blanco-Garcia turned on her — stabbing her more than a dozen times with a knife he was carrying. She veered into a ditch; he coldly wiped her blood off of his hands with a baby wipe and clambered out of the sunroof with the child.

Cops found the blade of the murder weapon, with the killer’s DNA, under Pham’s seat. But for nearly three years, her friends and family agonized as the DNA remained unidentified and the case unsolved. The investigative break? Illegal-alien Blanco-Garcia continued his criminal havoc — surprise, surprise — and attempted to steal several bottles of champagne from a local grocery store. He was convicted of larceny in April 2012. By December, law enforcement had tied his fingerprints to Pham’s murder. Blanco-Garcia’s trial begins next week.

True to form, the whitewash media have ignored Blanco-Garcia’s immigration status and the public-policy implications of our government’s systemic, bipartisan refusal to enforce the laws already on the books. The Washington Post (which employed illegal-alien reporter turned amnesty activist Jose Antonio Vargas for years and glorified the amnesty mob marches in 2006 and 2007) conveniently failed to mention Blanco-Garcia’s illegal-alien status. Some crimes are more equal than others.

According to immigration activists pushing to grant Guatemala “temporary protected status” — a de facto amnesty program run by the Department of Homeland Security that confers permanent residency, taxpayer subsidies, and preferential employment treatment to line-jumpers, border-crossers and visa overstayers — there are approximately 1.7 million Guatemalans in the U.S. A whopping 60 percent of them, like Blanco-Garcia, are here illegally.

That’s on top of the jaw-dropping backlog of 500,000-plus fugitive deportees who had their day in immigration court, were ordered to leave the country, and then were released and absconded into the ether.

And that’s on top of 1 million-plus visa holders whom the feds have lost track of because Congress never bothered to fulfill its legislative mandate to create a functioning entry-exit system — something Washington has promised to do six times over the past 17 years.

The horrific murder of Vanessa Pham was 100 percent preventable. Blanco-Garcia never should have been here in the first place. After each encounter with law enforcement, he should have been detained, deported, and kept out. For good.

I repeat: We spend billions of dollars on homeland security, but our government can’t even track and deport repeat convicted criminal aliens. These are not the well-meaning “newcomers” who just want to “pursue economic opportunities” by “doing the jobs no one else will do.” These are foreign-born thugs, druggies, sex offenders, murderers, and repeat drunk drivers who are destroying the American Dream.

If our immigration and entrance system cannot effectively monitor, detain, and kick out known American Destroyers, how can amnesty-peddling politicians in either party be trusted to provide for the common defense of law-abiding citizens pursuing the American Dream?

Whites Don't Belong In America Says Latino KKK Brown Berets At Arizona Law Protest

by ALIPAC: The Brown Berets, aka the Latino version of the KKK, you see in this video will be on every street corner in America if Congress passes 'immigration reform' amnesty for illegal aliens.

This video was captured at a protest in support of Arizona and Arizona's illegal immigration crackdown law SB 1070 a few years back! It was deleted by a Hacktivist working with someone inside Google in January of 2012. This was filmed outside an Angel's game in Anaheim, CA. . . .

If all of America could see videos like this, perhaps the apathy would end?

Many illegal alien invasion supporters claim that Reconquista, the desire of Mexicans in the United States to reclaim an area they call Aztlan for Mexico or 'indigenous peoples' is a myth. This video shows clearly that there are Mexican separatists in America that are being strengthened by illegal immigration and unlawful open borders!

Five Immigration Questions for Your Congressman

by Gerren McHam, Heritage Foundation: During the August congressional recess, a pro-amnesty coalition of business and union interests is putting the squeeze on members of the House of Representatives to pass a “comprehensive immigration reform” bill similar to the Senate-passed monstrosity. But hard-working Americans also have a voice and can speak up in town halls with House members while they’re in the districts. Here are five questions to remind them of the wisdom and importance of taking a step-by-step approach to immigration reform.

1. How can we afford an amnesty for illegal immigrants?
We can’t. Over their lifetimes, the estimated 11.5 million illegal immigrants would cost federal, state, and local taxpayers trillions of dollars, because they will consume significantly more in government benefits and services than they pay in taxes. Amnesty for millions of predominantly low-skilled illegal immigrants also will depress wages for low-skilled Americans and make a tough job market more difficult.

2. If illegal immigrants win amnesty, how is that fair to the 4.5 million who are waiting to enter the United States legally?
It isn't fair. America prides itself on the rule of law. As Americans, we should not allow those who break our laws to be rewarded—especially at the expense of those who are abiding by the rules. Rather than adequately streamlining our legalization system, some in Congress are pushing a new “path to citizenship” that grants amnesty to those who broke the law.

3. Can we ensure that a House-passed immigration bill doesn’t become a vehicle, in a deal with the Senate, for blanket amnesty?
No, we can’t. With massive costs to taxpayers and carve-outs for special interests, the Senate-passed bill eerily resembles Obamacare in its unnecessary complexity. Even House members who correctly view the Senate’s “comprehensive” bill as a failed approach must be cognizant of the push to use any House-passed measure as a means to enact the Senate provisions. If conversations begin between the House and Senate on a compromise, major sections of the Senate bill—including amnesty—will be part of that deal.

4. Does Congress need to pass new legislation to secure the border and strengthen interior enforcement?
No. Current laws can be used to settle our border security and interior enforcement problems. The reason those laws aren’t working is simple: We aren’t enforcing them. By way of executive orders and selective enforcement, the Obama Administration has undermined efforts to fix our system and placed unwarranted burdens on the agents in charge of carrying out these laws.

5. Is there any guarantee that we won’t face this problem again with millions of new illegal immigrants in the future?
No. We should keep a close eye on all proposals. In 1986, proponents of “reform” promised the American people that if Congress passed an amnesty-first immigration bill, we wouldn’t have to go through this debate again. We were told to trust Congress to put together an amnesty bill that would be fair and prevent illegal immigration once and for all. Fast forward to now, and we’re experiencing the same problems but on a larger scale. If Congress doesn’t secure the border first to stop the flow of illegal immigration and also enforce our laws, we will find ourselves back in the same situation. The Congressional Budget Office projected that if it the Senate bill became law, millions of new illegal immigrants would be here within a few decades.

Communist Illegal Immigrant from China Allowed To Deface DC National Monuments

William Gheen, ALIPAC: We have confirmation that the suspect charged with defacing some of our national monuments in Washington, DC, with green paint is a communist illegal alien from China who was allowed to fly and move about the country freely despite her expired visa.

Also, a new GAO report could Defeat Amnesty 2013 as it contains shocking news that a law passed in 2004 requiring our government to track all visa holders exiting America has not been implemented. The report indicates they have lost track of more than 1 million foreigners on American soil! (see article below)

Why did the Obama administration allow someone like this to have a visa? Why was this woman allowed to embark and disembark from planes with an expired visa 12 years after similar illegal immigrants used planes to devastate our nation on 9/11?

Almost half of the illegal immigrants in America are visa overstays whom our government makes almost no effort to track down. China and other nations know this. Also, China usually refuses to take back any illegal aliens from their nation we catch so most are still here! Border Patrol agents report more and more illegals from China, and now the emergency phones they place at the border have instructions in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese to aid illegals in distress.

In the year 2013 we now literally have illegal aliens defacing our national monuments in Washington, DC.

Background Story FoxNews:

WASHINGTON – A woman charged with defacing the Washington National Cathedral had a soda can of green paint with her when she was arrested, and she has been linked to at least four other incidents of vandalism, including at the Lincoln Memorial, according to prosecutors and court documents.

Jia M. Tian, 58, appeared alongside a Mandarin translator on Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court, where a judge ordered her held pending a hearing later this week. Police had previously identified her as Jiamei Tian.

Tian was arrested Monday at the cathedral, where she is accused of using green paint to deface an organ and decorative woodwork in two separate chapels. She's been charged with destroying private property, a crime that carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

The cathedral has said the damage to its chapels, including to a gilded wood altarpiece, will cost thousands of dollars to fix.

Authorities believe the green paint vandalism was part of a pattern of similar acts. Green paint was discovered splattered onto the Lincoln Memorial early Friday morning, and symbols were later found painted in green on a statue outside the Smithsonian headquarters on the National Mall.

The woman, who has a Chinese passport, arrived in Washington a few days ago and was traveling on an expired visa, prosecutors said. Police said she had no fixed address but that she told officers she lived in Los Angeles. She refused to give her phone number, email address or home address, police said, and a language barrier complicated initial efforts to interview her.

Prosecutors asked the judge to keep Tian locked up, calling her a flight risk and a danger to the community. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin Chambers said there was no way to guarantee her presence at future court appearances without jailing her.

"While that danger to the community is not violent, it is nonetheless serious," he said.

Tian was arrested inside the cathedral's Children's Chapel on Monday afternoon, shortly after the still-wet green paint was discovered there. When a police officer approached her, she walked away and placed the soda can with green paint inside one of three bags that were sitting on chairs in the chapel, documents show. She also had green paint on her clothing, shoes and body, authorities say.

She was wearing a multicolored sock on her right arm, and a similar sock was found in a trash can in a bathroom at the cathedral on top of a can of green paint, according to the documents. The bags placed in the chapel also had cans of green paint in them, police said.

Tian is also suspected of vandalizing a statue of Martin Luther on Thomas Circle in downtown Washington, which was also hit with green paint, prosecutors say.

Following her arrest, a witness contacted police and reported that the woman had been seen attending a service at a church less than a block from Thomas Circle, according to court documents. The witness reported that the woman was carrying three bags with her. After she left, the witness found that a pipe organ in the church had been splattered with white paint, urine and feces, police say.

D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said Tuesday on a news talk show on NewsChannel 8 that the incidents all appear to be connected. She said Tian has potential "mental health issues" and it's still not clear what inspired the vandalism.

"What the motive is for the incidents, we don't really know," she said. "I guess that will all start to unfold as we go through the courts."

A lawyer for Tian argued that her client could be appropriately dealt with by immigration authorities instead of going to jail, but Chambers disagreed.

"We have her here now," he said. "We want her to answer for these alleged offenses."

Cleanup crews have been working for the past few days to remove the paint from the Lincoln Memorial. An estimated $15,000 in repair work has already begun at the Episcopal cathedral, which serves as the nation's spiritual home and has hosted state funerals and inaugural prayer services.

House Immigration Bill Just as Bad

Phyllis Schlafly and Dr. Bill Smith
(ARRA News Service)
Discussing Threats To America!
by Phyllis Schlafly, Eagle Form: The Gang of Eight pro-amnesty Senators are trying to con the House of Representatives into passing parts of an anti-American amnesty bill so they can get a Chuck Schumer-dominated conference committee and bamboozle Representatives into going along with their sellout plans. The few pro-amnesty Republican Senators had Marco Rubio as the salesman for the unpopular amnesty bill, and the few pro-amnesty Republicans in the House have Paul Ryan to play the same un-Republican role.

The Gang of Eight patted itself on the back for successfully passing their bill in the Senate, but, funny thing, the bill was never forwarded to the House for action. The explanation for this irregular omission is fear that the House would "blue slip" the bill.

Article 1, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution gives the sole power to the House to originate all bills for raising revenue, known as the Origination Clause. If the Senate oversteps and includes a provision to raise some revenue (which it did in the Gang's amnesty bill), the House can reject the bill and send it back to the Senate for correction in what is known as a "blue slip" procedure.

The devious Ryan plan to circumvent this rule is for the House to pass five or six bills on various aspects of amnesty and then use that bunch of bills to call for a conference committee with the Senate. Ryan let the cat out of the bag when he told a constituent audience in Racine, Wis. on July 26 that his revised plan now calls for a House vote, not before the August recess as originally expected but in October.

There is no indication that the Ryan amnesty is any better for Americans than the Rubio amnesty. Amnesty is still a bad deal for all, whether it comes in one package or in six.

The former New York Lt. Gov., Dr. Betsy McCaughey, the only one known to have actually read the 1,200-page Senate bill, says that the bill's text is loaded with "slippery" words (such as "emergency," "comprehensive," "plan" and "reform") that create loopholes giving Barack Obama the opportunity to refuse to enforce any provisions he doesn't like, including border security that the public is demanding.

That's what Obama notoriously did to cancel provisions of other laws, notably Obamacare's date of enforcement and the effective Work Requirement in Welfare Reform. Obama also seems to think he can invent his own new laws never passed by Congress, such as the Dream Act and anti-coal regulations.

There are so many dangerous and costly provisions in Congress' amnesty plans that they are difficult even to itemize, but for starters take the foolishness that amnesty loosens the rules for asylum seekers. We should have learned some deadly lessons from the asylum seekers we have already welcomed who turned out to be terrorists, such as the first World Trade bombers in 1993 and the Boston Marathon bombers this year.

The new amnesty bill reduces the application to be an asylum seeker from the current one-year deadline to as many years as the immigrant wants and, incredibly, allows the U.S. Attorney General to pay the asylum seekers' legal fees. We should absolutely bar all entry from countries that routinely engage in terrorism.

Another highly dangerous and costly provision that should be decisively rejected is the politically motivated plan to outsource duties to community organizers and activists who will be paid by our taxpayers to help immigrants transition to American life and apply for government benefits. That's like pouring tax dollars into the Democratic voting machine to do phone banking and outreach to load new entrants permanently into the Democratic Party.

The amnesty bill even assigns some of these so-called non-profit, left-wing community groups the task of rewriting provisions for U.S. citizenship. This indicates how far the left-wing's "religion" of diversity is taking us: That duty certainly should be performed by Americans, not foreigners.

Here's a good question for a new Congressional hearing. Will the Internal Revenue Service do a thorough audit of these groups' tax-exempt status and demand answers to intrusive questions, as the IRS did with the Tea Parties?

Here's another good question to which we would like an answer in an open congressional hearing. How many young illegal aliens who cross our southern border illegally are valedictorians compared with those who are carrying illegal drugs? The left went into spasms of rage when Rep. Steve King suggested there might be more of the latter, so let's have an investigation to find out if King was correct.
Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since 1964. She founded and is president of Eagle Forum. She has testified before more than 50 Congressional and State Legislative committees on constitutional, national defense, and family issues.
